It's been a good week for football fans in Britain this week, Scotland cruise to the top of the championship qualifiers, by beating France in thier own backyard and England finally get some decent results. Fuck England however, they should be playing like that anyway. Scotland, what can i say, fucking excellent, just fucking unbelievable.
I took a half day off from work to have a 'few' beers and watch the game, it turns out, i had 12 and a bottle of wine and it feels like the back of my head has fallen off, such a beautiful hangover.
Congrats England for not being shit like usual, congrats Scotland for being better than England.

Good job Scotland. Their win helped out Italy and coupled with Italy's win really changed the climate of the group. I have said it before that England are irrelevant because no matter how good they go now they will undoubtedly choke in the later stages.

The team's chances of qualifying in my opinion are pretty much nil for both Irelands and Wales. Scotland now have a big chance if they can hold their nerve and England only really need a point in Russia to get through, as long as they don't screw up at home.
