Let me take a couple things off the list.

1. Stretching the searchbar idea is stupid, the searchbar doesn't even work right.
2. Any links to flash/ audio, should be kept in their respective portals. This is the BBS, if we wanted to watch flash/audio we wouldn't be here.

How about "all of the above examples"?

Basicly, make random things (that are safe for work) that already exist come up, like;

- #1 flash for the day
- latest submittd flash/audio
- weekly #1 flash/audio
- most popular flash/audio
- contest plugs, nd other short important info, just like inbetween the bytesize-flashes
- ones favourite artist latest submission (could probably scripted to suit alot of things that are based off of ones profile)
- latest user to quote you in the forum(if possible)
- NG affiliate links to their webpages or so
- Random art (like bytesize, but forum-based... YOU COULD MAKE A COOOONTEEEST ABOUT IT whooo!!! to get it started, then users could post pics in a specific thread in the art forum, and one of the staff could decide what art is good enough (and of the right size:) to be ´promoted. Link could go to user profile, but that might be NSFW, though (the uyser prof.)...

Idea would be to make them random, though, and interesting enough so ppl randomly won't forget about it´.
