The only problem with that is that every time you post...all one has to do is take a gander to the left and get basically all that info...so it would kinda be a waste.

well, I know the forum you're browsing displays mods also in that forum, but maybe throw in ALL online mods in that little area, regardless of if they're even ON the bbs.

If a mod's on ng, and there's some shit going into the fan and spraying everyone in the face, it wwould be the best indicator of who to contact.

Especially if it's late and night and a mod's depo'ing, just not on the forums. when raids happen and etc.

I like the most recently updated blogs idea, too. Since not everyone can get it onto the front page, a sweeping autoupdating thing would be neato.

So im gonna kinda rip off an idea from Facebook, but what if you highlight certain users who you find interesting in your profile and whenever they make a post, a link to that thread will appear in the box.

And to avoid stalker issues, the users would have to request to be able to watch each others posts, so if one user is just using it to follow someone around and flame the other, the other user can just take them off the list.

It would really just be a quicker way of looking at your "friends" posts without having to go to thier post history and look up stuff there.

But in all honesty, why don't you just put a ban status window down there. People want the information anyway. I can say how long the user is banned for, a reason, or alternatively how long since your last ban (Starting with first post). You could then be actively trying to get people to post properly with some feature of the site.

I Think it would be kinda sweet to have a Audio player there while you searchin around Newgrounds like if you listen to music. Instead of going through all the work in fav-Audio ,you could just go to the bottom and pick a song to listen too and search around at the same time.

I propose that you put the newest entry to pass judgment in the portal. Its not too busy, its safe for the work environment and it may give more views to the artists submissions. I have provided a picture below of what it could [roughly] look like.
