Check out this epic collab that RubberNinja is putting together. Respond to his post with feedback, ideas and offers to help!

You've probably noticed that we've had a lot of ads this past month for Shoot 'Em Up! Making the movie even more relevant to the NG audience is these cool animatics that Luis brought to my attention. It turns out that director Michael Davis had pitched the movie to New Line Cinema through a series of animatics he created on his drawing tablet in FLASH! Makes me wonder if a 3 Ali movie could be far way...

While we're on the topic of giving Shoot Em Up some extra plugs, check out this naughty shooting game they made to promote the film.

Moving right along, when you are listening to a song in the Audio Portal, you can now find a list of "Users who liked this also enjoyed..." in the related submissions box on the bottom left. This feature has been in the Flash Portal for a while, but it's new to the AP!

It's time to announce the best of August! Each winner will receive $250, an award certificate and a t-shirt from the NG Store.

20. Bowling Alley Defense

The randomly selected active voter of the month for August and winner of $100 and a t-shirt is Blitz-Mage!

Winners should PM Bob with the following info:

1. Specify if you are splitting the award money with other credited authors on the submission.
2. Your real name, for the check.
3. Your name, as you want it to appear on the award certified.
4. Your mailing address (be sure to include zip code, country, all that stuff!)
5. Your t-shirt size (S, M, L, XL, 2XL)
6. Your t-shirt preference (pick anything from the store. Make sure we have your size in-stock!

Congrats everyone! Next up is Madness Day on September 22nd, as well as our ongoing Halloween competition.

Yay, congrats to them all.
Well deserved.

Still need to get my ass into gear to ever get one of those beautiful certificates.

Also can't wait for the Project. I'll most likely take a part in the animating role.

Maybe a switch between the last three in places would have been a better finish but anyway a fifth or higher end should be considered a first place finish I think everybody did an awesome job especially Aladin and Blockhead. Huge animations great graphics got to love it.

Same, I only tried the Wart boss and it was horrible, everything was way too large and the camera was horrible, you couldn't see the damn floor.

But this often the case with the games, they get less of them.
You know those simple flash games where you control something simple and grab things falling from the sky, and also dodge things? One of those won once, it was a Salad fingers fan game.
It all comes down to who enjoyed what.
