A good iMac with a 22" screen is only about $2000! Here are some facts:
That's way too much... to spend on a shit mac, loser.
1) OS X came out waaaayyy before Vista, and yet has all of Vista's features- and more. Plus, unlike Vista, Macs pull off the visual effects really well.
NOT! Macs use the same gradients in everything, and Vista definitely has stuff that Mac doesn't.
2) Mac are made in the US(i think?)
WHO GIVES A FUCK!!
3) Apple is teh l337!
And... You just killed your own argument. Apple sucks, and iTunes is the most unreliable piece of shit I have ever seen in my life.
6) Most software comes for Mac also.
WRONG!! Is FL Studio for mac? NO! That is one reason alone not to get Macs.
7) Macs get waaaayyy less viruses, spyware, and other malware.
SO?! It's because it has "waaaayyy" less functionality, power, and overall usability.
In Summary, if you want a Unix based computer, get Linux, or don't get Unix at all. If you want superior accessibility, power, functionality, compatibility, customizability, and pretty much every good feature ever, get Windows, you won't regret it.

Well, if all these so-called "Windows Lovers" would try a Mac for just 1 hour, they would never want to go back to Windows XP. I am not biased, because I have tried all three OS's. I have Windows, Linux, and I use a Mac at school(I'm getting one soon). So don't bash Mac or Linux until you've actually tried it for yourself.
I actually used a Mac for a week one time and actually distanced myself from them even more. It's not that I hate Macs, because they ARE pretty nice computers, but I felt MUCH more in control with a PC. Macs open up WAY too many windows for programs like MS Word and don't run them as smoothly (I would occasionally get error message). I TOTALLY prefer the toolbar to that "strip" on the Mac and I have the peace of mind with Windows XP that EVERYTHING works with the OS. Plus, there's greater upgradability with PC's and don't experience viruses or any other malware with Panda Software.
And the one-button mouse--what a stupid idea.

Most people who actually own an iMac and a PC know that OS X is far superior. I've used PCs all my life and got my first iMac last year, and I can tell you that it is much, much better than any PC I've ever owned or used in almost every way. Unfortunately, Newgrounds is full of retards who do whatever's popular, and bashing Apple makes you look cool. It is extremely rare to find somebody who has an iMac and a PC that prefers the PC, and if you do some research, you'll find that most iMac and OS X reviews are from recent switchers saying they always used Windows and thought Macs sucked until they bought one, then say they will "never go back."
Do your research. Don't buy shit based on what Newgrounds says, look around other places that aren't full if idiots. If you're getting a Mac, wait until next month when Leopard comes out.
Also, the video card is fine. I can play WoW at the highest quality while rendering shit in Blender 3D with Vista running in the background and 50 other programs and I'm still able to use Exposé without any lag staying at 100+ FPS. That's fucking good enough. Plus the new iMacs that just came out have a better video card than what I have, and are $300 cheaper than the previous ones.

Wrong. I own both, and rarely use the iMac. I just have it because I need to keep up with OSX for some work I'm doing. I've used an iMac extensively, and still prefer the PC.

Neither LINIX MINT, it is free and you do not need a firewall or a antivirus, I am actually dual-booting Win XP, and mint. but if you are building a new PC witch is always better than getting one from a store then go with MINT. if you get a PC put together, you can tell the sales rep you do not want Win on it and want a LINIX op System it will cut the price 2-3 hundred dollars.
if YOU REALLY WANT A DIFFRENT OPERATING System PM me and I will help you out,
I can get you the operating System best for you .

I HATE visual effects of any kind. I refuse to use an OS in which I cannot disable the visual effects.
2) Mac are made in the US(i think?)
So are E-Machines.
3) Apple is teh l337!
Sez h00?
4) Flash and Photoshop run on Flash.
They also run on a PC running Windows.
5) You can run XP(But why would you want to)
So can a PC
6) Most software comes for Mac also.

7) Macs get waaaayyy less viruses, spyware, and other malware.
So does Linux. And Linux, unlike OS X, is free.
And Why is everyone biased against Mac OS X, the clearly superior os.
Because the only thing superior about it are the sheer number of idiots who claim its superior.
I'm getting a MacBook Pro 15" laptop for $2100, and it's worth every penny.
So, let's see: My 8-year old laptop running Kubuntu, that I paid $200 for, can do everything you listed above, AND has a 15-inch screen, and yet your Mac is "worth it"?
Yeah. Right.

Hmmmm.... does it really matter that much? It's one persons computer, and he asked a question which somehow sparked world war 3. The world isn't involved yet, but just you wait.
But... I say windows, because of gaming :]
You could also use potatoes. Now THAT is a good OS. Good Ol' potatoes.

There is always one thing PC users can do that Mac users can't:
NOTE: the following link is not safe for work if your boss is member of MAM or otherwise a Mac enthusiast.
As Maddox puts it here.
And to the prices comparison:
A relatively new desktop with quadcore cpu. (price includes all necessary components).
2200 $.
Windows XP
some 200 $.
Good monitor.
Around 350 $.
Peripherals (depends on your choice)
10 $ and up.
The look on your friends face when you boot up and select one from 9 different operaiting systems.
*PRICELESS*
There are some things money just can't buy. For everything else, there is Mastercard.
(I just had to add that.)
In conclusion: get a PC. You can ditch windows if it starts to tick you of and switch to something else without scraping the entire computer.
