I thought I'd make a sketchbook thread to get a little more feedback on some of my drawings. I figured it is a step forward to becoming an artist of some sort, and it'll keep me motivated for as long as possible.
I'll start with some sketches I did over the summer, mostly figure drawings, and move on to original drawings later. These were drawn in 10-20 minutes with references from posemaniacs.com. I resized them to fit.

I said I'll get to it later =P
Here are 37 more poses, only done in 90 seconds each.
Wow, great! You sure know a lot about anatomy. They are very realistic, keep it up!
Very nice, I might have to check out that website.

Thanks, I also used a timed reference for them, they were very difficult at the start but I eventually got the hang of it.
Here are some eyes I drew, also from reference, as suggested by someone at conceptart.org.
They were also resized to fit.
Here are some random sketches from other random photos... still just practicing.
All of them are unreal. I love them to bits, and I can't explain why. Even the eyes are mesmerizing. Thinking of your final works gives me chills.
Christ. Some very very good sketches of body and form here. Jolly good.

That's where I am having most trouble, with colors and all that. Thanks anyway =P
Here is an orthographic sketch of a female soldier I finished without a reference, to test what I knew about anatomy. Please tell me if the proportions are off or something like that.
I must admit: I'm astonished... Such awesome proportions.
A rather disgusting-looking git that should have been disposed of ages ago.

Yea a bit, I can't draw full length drawings well, hence all the figure drawings.

Online tutorials... and random pictures on google I use for reference.

my opinion is you got skills dude. I don't think there is really anything else to say but I can't wait to see the finished version of this one and i am going to be watching for more posts on this thread. Peace.
your drawings are pretty amazing. Don't feel unimpressed with your completed work because your terrific with coloring & shading too.
Thank you guys.
I doubt I'll finish it, it's not turning out the way I want. I'll probably try something different later.
Here's what I got.
Such a great eye for muscles and anatomy overall, that's just impressive.
Did you just learn everything on your own? Because that's some professionall stuff you got there!

Only up until recently I started practicing figure drawing and anatomy. I know a bit, but most of what I have here is from reference.
I've used plenty of tutorials and artist's advice, so I didn't really learn anything on my own.
Simply kickass. Im adoring your sketchbook creations. You will def be a favorite here if you keep up doing this. That wip you made, what a bang up job. I look forward... to be amazed XD Awesome man.
You shall go far my friend, far.
You can draw random people in a void pretty damn well and your PS painting skills are top notch though, good job!
Now for a real challenge: Try making a comicbook page! ;)
