I get a strange sense of pleasure from disappointing people. Maybe I should go buy those songs on iTunes now...

It's quite nice you've decided to rescind your comments from all those years back when you could've forgotten about them and no one would've noticed.

Please stop the Rickrolling!

Not in a sense that I could bring myself to buy any of his songs on iTunes (although the end of "Love Stoned" when he was on the keyboard was really cool), but in a sense that I now rescind any negative comments I made about Justin Timberlake in games like Snipe Justin Timberlake six years ago, and "Beat Up Nsync" almost TEN years ago... we never moved my old Assassin pages when the redesign lanuched, so it's one of more than ten games of mine that have mysteriously vanished.

For the past few years I've paid more attention to Justin and the guy has definitely got "it". He can sing, dance and he's damn entertaining. It's too bad so many people don't give him a chance because of the band he came from, but this is the guy which is why N*Sync was who they were. He was all the talent and the other dudes were filler. It's more than obvious now.

Britney Spears just doesn't give a shit anymore. It's not like life threw her a curveball; everything went pretty damn well and she made her own stupid choices to fuck it up. Meanwhile, Justin kept his hustle going and now he has a flashy live performance with Timbaland that even I can enjoy.

You definitely got that right. Britney can't seem to get away from her new life as a cum dumpster. She's boring to watch perform and her song SUCKS.

In fact, Justin has become a bit of an inspiration for me. Watching him on stage makes me want to step up my own game. Not that learning dance moves will do any good for Newgrounds, but I need to find my own ways to enhance the showmanship here at NG... Make it all feel like more of an EVENT to be here. I brought up some of this stuff to the guys at lunch last week, but I think it made them want to leave the table.

I guess they aren't the pep talk types, eh?

The one performance that I did like was Chris Brown... You can tell he's young and hungry and got a good night's sleep before he hit that stage. If he keeps that up, he'll have earned it too.

Yup, he'll earn it. Without a doubt.

Tom gave Props to Chris Brown??
I always thought in the back of my head you never really cared for hip hop or R&B. You probably don't but its cool to see people give credit to where credits due. Thats what keeps me here on Ng, you're a fair man Mr.Fulp a fair man indeed. Keep doing what you do!
And aww man..I think Britney Spears had a cold sore..and what was up with her non expressive face?

If you're not reading Twisted Comix what is your life about?

It's funny you say that because you're forums reflect this exact type of thinking. Cesorship reigns supreme and you seem to care more about your advertising income then you do the original purpose of the site.

This thing didn't air in Australia.. as far as I know.

All we had was the clips of Britney Spears on the channel 10 news, slowly rolling around the stage in an attempt to look sexy... Whilst the entire crowd laughed at her! She's so out of shape now, it's hilarious. It's like watching a walrus try to entertain whilst in a fake tan, blonde wig and a push up bra.

Trying to keep the forums from collapsing under their own retardedness has nothing to do with advertising revenue. Thank you drive through.

This reminds me of something..

A while ago I was walking with my now ex-girlfriend and her mates. They were in the perfume section of the store, when I caught site of the "Britney Spears brand perfume". I immediately cracked a joke saying they had to do a product recall because it called baldness.

None of them got it. In fact, they believed me.

if all tom wanted was money, he would have sold newgrounds long ago, for a LOT of money. what are you being a dick for? he's gotta make money, and he's trying out new advertising things, to change up the site. did you like 10,000 pop ups with hentai titties all over them? probably, but i didn't.

i make ads for websites now, so i have more sympathy towards banner ads and whatnot ;) but think about it from the perspective of the website owner, don't focus on yourself all the time. him making more money could possibly mean we ourselves get something back in the future, better, because of it. ya know? sure he could be spending his money secretly on cocaine and hookers, but tom isn't like that okay.

There are tons and tons of sites with far worse annoying advertisements, newgrounds ads have actually gone down in annoyance. no more page take over ads, or auto sound spawn, seriously :X you have to experiment with things.

also Tom, it is to my understanding that you are looking for someone to handle advertising still, is that why you never PMed me back when i asked about putting that ad on your site? :X

Hell yeah, when Billie Jean started, everyone went nuts. It wasn't better than Foo Fighters, but it was still one of the best performances of the night.

Yeah, we still need a dedicated ad guy and we need to dedicate more programming resources to our ad serving abilities. And yeah, I can honestly say that the money does get spent on NG and the artists who contribute, rather than hookers and blow.
