Ive known that fro a while now, the swastika has been a sign for power and religion for thousands of years before Hitler used it for his Nazi Regime.

I think the swastika was originally created as a religious symbol, because it represented the cross with extensions put out of it. The Nazis actually did in fact alter it, because they flipped the image. Of course, I hear this symbol was used primarily in Eastern religions. This makes little sense as the cross is a symbol of Western religion, unless Eastern religions simply added a variant to something in Christianity like the Nazis did with their symbol.

the cross is primarily a vanity item in asia and doesn't really denote religious affiliation
