Thanks, much appreciated. Although I know my style of drawing isn't even aiming at beign ultra-realistic & (bit shamed to admit) my style has borrowed some ends from manga, I try to do my best. And when the time to post more of Kamata (seriously, I oddly enough think her as my best char creation ever), I will put some extra quality in it (though I still lack PSPro to do the proper shading)...

However, I will shortly start working onto more, with (again) tons of text that isn't that important.

Whoops, I did it again (2x post)!
Nvm that, I started working on my next pic, and I just finished coloring it, so I decided to show the progress before shading it & adding a nice background, so I just put a plain bg at the moment.

But I'm too tired to carry on right now, I go get some sleep, see you soon!

Not much to say here, finished shading him, added a different background until I finish with the final background. Also "roughed" the armor & weapon a little to give em more used look.

I can see why they rejected him, as he doesen't seem the type that fits into children action figures :P
The anatomi is however, screwed but I do think that is the point in it :F

Well, finished with the coloring, shading, will be naturally added too, and Im trying to work onto something nice as a background (which means I need to draw it with pen first to make it look like something)...

Thank you, again, much apreciated, and here is the shaded version (still hasnt got to draw the proper background, mostly because my borthers do not understand this habit of mine [drawing], so I really cant do that when they are around or I cant focus at all)! Lets hope it doesent dissapoint anyone, or make them commit a suicide :P

I'm quite pleased with this one, really. And true, I think I have improved a bit, mostly in drawing with the mouse ( I can correct errors I didnt see while drawing, I add some stuff ect. ) . So, next I will do a wee bit older drawing, it has a huge detailed background I wish to use ( now we can see if I can add a proper background or not ! ). I believe it will come alright since I'm getting used to drawing with mouse against a base (If that means what I intended to mean).

But, for now, here it is, good night ( or day ) & farewells. (Apoligies for the cheesy background)

No, I'm not dead, even though I think someone might think It'd be better that way :P

In fact, I'm making progress on my next picture featuring, you guessed it: Kamata & a highly detailed background. Note that this pic was drawn some time ago, meaning I had (have) to make some adjustments on it via computer, but I do think I'm getting it done quite nicely. I will post the raw uncolored version asap.

So, I declare that the uncolored version is hereby finished. I had to shrink the quality to 8% by some odd reason for the filesize to match, but it didnt seem to affect at all (I hope).

Colors & shading will be added later, as well as the water-effects (lets hope I dont screw em!)

Ok, found the reason for the dam quality error, & just in time too: did a small bit of coloring before I go to sleep, hope you like it.

Also note I added her scales again, but this time they should be just like they should, not just randomly done. At least I hope they are satisfying your needs for small realism.

Progress made, I'm quite happy with the background color at this point, though its not yet shaded, but I will get to shading when I'm done with the coloring.

Anyways, here goes.

Sorry, can't be submitting any more progress too soon, my connection has been smashing me up badly for a couple o' days ( using a public computer right now ).
At least I finally got to inform this... horrible tragegy :P
No connection means no uploading pics either :/

However, when I get this baby back online I'll be posting more...

Finally my internet connection has been fixed...

So, withouth any further interruption, I got to upload even more finished pic.
I have now done over half of the coloring, & one of the hardest things too: the water.

I was really satisfied how the water came to be, was worth spending some extra time making it look like this instead of a pool of 1 colored luquid that doesent even have the slighest of waves.

I will be finishing with the last background & sky as soon as I can get myself more time, & then immediately do the shading to perfect it.

On a further note, next pic will propably feature Kamata, with some changes, if I get the time to draw her. It will be more detailed & overall more... eh, better :)

After that, well, I dunno yet.

Well, its good to be pessimistic with my own drawings... either Im right, or I am happily suprised :)

Before I start working on my next project which I will try to make even better than my last one (meaning the best so far...)... I have a question...
Which would YOU prefer in the next pic...?

- Kamata in a normal stance (standing?), so you can see her armor & all the little details clearly

- Kamata sitting, watching PDA... just an opinion

- ( Win?) Kamata in a battlestance, blade drawn out, furious face (lets hope I can pull THIS one out ) & added gore of course.

I believe I can pull off any of those... your call!

I finally decided to come back to this thread! I've started to work on the body of my character, I may improve on the helmet.

Apologies for ditching you guys for a while, I didn't have the attention span to actually finish the character at the point in time I mde the helmet.

'Bout time you showed here, was getting wee bit lonely... or not, as the view rating shows, too bad people dont post comments that often...

Well, I couldn't help myself... I chose the battlestance on my own... Because frankly, beign like that is way cooler :)

I got to start drawing Kamata with her almost completely redone armor & small facial changes, & so far it is more detailed & better looking. Also, I changed her style a bit. Instead of 1 blade, she has 2 ^^
The blade(s) can be regonized as the same though it also has been gone trough some changes...

I can't wait until I finish drawing her, then finally perfect it...

Hope I get to that soon, but for now, I'm going to sleep... see you!
