Bah. Here's my progress with this lovely Drone. I know the 2D pic of the Drone added on the top left isnt as cool as the 3D variant, its there for background...

And no, there is NO limit, expect the RULES I explained in the 1st post. The only filter is that anything posted here is well, suppousedly from "space". Call it otherworldy if you wish, or sci-fi, space is the limit (meaning there isnt a limit now is there`).

However, I'm not that strict to that, so you might as well post what feels good :P

I however will be posting things like that mentioned above, as you might have already noticed.
Currently I'm trying to work on the "Overlord" xenoform, lets see if I can work my magic on it...

Took me long enough, but I finally finished my first entry...

Divori, the Massacrer.
Backstory: Divori (last name unknown) was the last member of the Talomenite race. Divori's homeworld of Talomenis was overrun by the Skrith, who multiplied, killed and fed, eventually leaving the world in ruins and wiping out the entire Talomenite species-except for one young boy, who swore to take his revenge on the Skrith Collective.
Divori traveled the galaxy, hunting for the Skrith. From planets the galaxy over, from the rings of Gak'An 5 to the many moons of Akrell, Divori destroyed legions of the insectoid demons. He has well earned his title - The Massacrer. After many years, certain he had killed them all, Divori decided to take a break and have a vacation - on Earth.
While Divori was on Earth, disaster struck. The Skrith attacked Earth. Divori, along with the rest of the Galactic Federation, destroyed every last Skrith that landed on Earth's surface (even though they could not stop them from turning Earth a bit... post-apocalyptic in appearance). The Skrith have never been heard from again.
However, in the battle, Divori was poisoned by a Skrith soldier. There was (and is) no cure at the time. Divori died at the age of 29, but he died a martyr - as he would have wanted.
Abilities: The spines on Divori's body are actually composed of a mineral harder than diamond. He can make this material grow or shrink at will, creating weapons from his own body. This mineral also makes up much of his bone structure, giving Divori superhuman durability. He also carries traditional Talomenian weapons - a pair of wrist-attached short-swords.

I'll be starting work on Entry #2 in a little bit.

It's been awfully busy for me for the last couple of days (and it seems it will stay like that for a while to come), but I will not abandon anything, so dont you worry :P

I liked your pic, double katar-styled weapons are always nasty. Oddly enough you were bold enough to admit the death of your char, which is quite unusual...

Keep em coming however, when I'm finished with "Overlord", I will show you a Terran Support trooper wielding a nice weapon with Qoltharian Support trooper ( Kamata is Qoltharian, just so you know :P ), which is wielding a nice weapon too (which will also show the majority of the weapon style Qoltharian troops use... )

Ah, I'm finished for now, I try to get that "Overlord" ready asap (though its already half finished now is it? )

A.) Thank you. I might add a few details; it's not done as of yet.

Lynch.
Backstory: Not much is known about Lynch's past or species. He is a biomechanical organism, able to control machinery, but that is all that is known. Even he never knew anything about his past. He was discovered buried underground by Semitarian archaeologists on planet Arkhen. The researchers "adopted" Lynch, and taught him about galactic society. The world seemed very chaotic and disorderly to Lynch, who decided shortly thereafter that he would help to regulate the galaxy's order, and possibly learn about his past along the way. He became a bounty hunter.
And a good bounty hunter at that - Lynch became one of the best bounty hunters in the galaxy, successfully taking more than 150 bounties. One of his most famous escapades details his assassination of the infamous serial killer Cannabis. However, Lynch considered himself a neutral party - he would take bounties for anyone. The very next mission he took after the Cannabis incident was to assassinate the reknowned Kygtarian diplomat, Afala Bhis.
When the Skrith attempted a full-on invasion of the Milky Way, Lynch was one of the many who helped defend the galaxy. He aided heroes such as Divori, the Massacrer, in driving the Skrith out of the galaxy forever.
3 days after Divori's death, Lynch vanished - and was never heard from again. Some say he traveled back to Arkhen to uncover the secrets of his past. Others believe he went into a deep mourning after Divori was killed; he was a good friend of Lynch's and often worked with him on missions. Whatever the case, the galaxy will remember Lynch as a hero.

A.) I didn't put a copyright in em, so you might as well do, but I still can't help that I feel a bit uneasy about it... Maybe it's because I'm oddly protective of my work. Well, lets say you can 'borrow' em for one pic... :P But that doesen't mean it's a genuine Qoltharian anymore if it doesen't fit my... standards :P
B.) Not really, at least not anymore ( Technological advancing, my friend ). Though they porpably never really excelled in taming other wild animals, mostly because they themselves are quite fast (with the exception of Red-Origin Qoltharians [More on these 'Origin' things later...]) so they never really had any need to do that...

I really liked both of your works, maybe but a wee bit of more work on the eyes dodo, they seem a bit too plain, but not much. And Havayosunu, cant wait to see it finished, looks original and nice at the same time... keep it up!

Finally I got some free time to spare tonight and tomorrow morning, so you'd better expect the finished "Overlord" pic and then a nice layout of Terran Forces (Infrantry), including Soldier, Medic, Engineer (Pioneer), Sniper, Support... and the Special Forces; Enforcer (hype hype!) & Commando.

After that I'll be adding Qoltharian forces (Infrantry again), which differs a bit from Terran, and also explain that 'Origin' thingy. Just you wait!

Finished with the "Overlord", since I finally had myself some free time to hear myself thinking.
Quite a "beaty" ain't it? See the similarity (typo?) with the Drone? That will be explained at some time (no, its not evolution!), when I add more tasty Xenoform pics (next up: Swarmer, Stalker).

Oh, and sorry about the quality, I had to cut it a little so it didnt exceed the allowed size.
But for now, I will focus on the opposing force, meaning Terrans & Qoltharians. First off I will show up the Terran basic infrantry.....

Awesome style, man. I like these better than your Xenoforms so far. (When I first heard that, I thought you meant Xenomorphs... whatever.)

Xenoforms = Xenomorphs if you really insist, just changed the name to a fresher one :P

I propably will be changing the male soldiers face a bit before coloring, not forgetting that I forgot to add the jumpsuit lines on the left hands... for both of em!

And believe me, these will look better colored and shaded ( at least I hope so :P )

Terran Soldier ( / Medic / Pioneer )
Trained, equipped with the latest UBF- Combat Armor MK III providing self-repairing Nanobot housing & armed with the famous UBF FN4000 APF assault rifle, Terran Soldier is a choice for almost any situation. Although not physichally as strong as Qoltharians, they have extreme skill when it comes to handling their own weapons that are already accurate on their own. However, even though the UBF- Combat Armor MK III provides satisfactionary protection against Xenoforms, Terrans are poorly suited for melee combat, but since the Soldier carries the UBF FN4000 APF, he can as well prove lethal in close quarters.

Armor: UBF- Combat Armor MK III + Nanobot housing in the back
Weapon: UBF FN4000 APF & Spiral clustergrenade(s)
-30.cal EL-caseless rounds
-Clip size: 45
-Red-dot scope ( 2x zoom ) + lasersight
-APF mounted (Anti-Personel-Flamethrower), using concentrated plasma stream which can last for 5 seconds with 1 fuel cell and with the max. effective range of 10 meters.
-Extremely reliable, it has proven itself many times over, and the small Nanobot-Housing provides light maintance on the weapom itself.

Terran Sniper
Avoiding close quarter combat, this well trained trooper wields the horrific Hellscream sniperrifle.
Able to provide extreme support at medium & long distance, the Sniper is a wise choice for any teams backup. Though their weapon is quite big, they can move quite quicly and the strict training program provides them with good stamina. However, lacking the ability to carry anything but a single Quadfire Pistol as a backup weapon & only carrying the light version; UBF - Light Armor, they are extremely vulnerable to any form of attacks, esspecially melee attacks.

Armor: UBF - Light Armor + Small Nanobot housing in the back
Weapon: "Hellscream" Terran Sniperrifle
-70. cal ( ! ) EL- EP (Energy piercer) caseless slug
-Clip size: 3
-Oversight scope ( 4x, 8x, 16x zoom ) + Tracer assistor ( equipped on the head of the Sniper )
-This sniperrifle is almost considered as a light cannon, and it is currently the largest man-held rifle at the moment. The nickname "Hellscream" comes from the sound of the shot, which is easy to regonize. This rifle is able to stop Overlord in its tracks with a single shot if it hits a vital spot. However, this rifle also has quite large kickback, meaning that the second & third shot is delayed.
Never underestimate this rifle in the hands of a proffessional.

Phew! All done! I surely put a lot of text in this one, but thats pretty much what my imagination is like.

the concept is definitely nice. Just take a look at some sci-fi movie helmets and I think you can find the inspiration you need to make this a really sweet design.
