Why the fuck do you live by a book? A book of shitty stories? Where frogs and shit fall from the sky and some faggot gets PWNT to a cross. . Who are you to say whats right? Huh? Well you're not, you soul-soliciting pig-fucker. Go back to church, blow your "father", call him daddy, drink his holy water, and then proceed to bash your head in with a bible.

I would also like to hear from the religious community of newgrounds.
Atheism has no rules
eleven satanic rules of the earth:
1. Do not give opinions or advice unless you are asked.
2. Do not tell your troubles to others unless you are sure they want to hear them.
3. When in another's lair, show him respect or else do not go there.
4. If a guest in your lair annoys you, treat him cruelly and without mercy.
5. Do not make sexual advances unless you are given the mating signal.
6. Do not take that which does not belong to you unless it is a burden to the other person and he cries out to be relieved.
7. Acknowledge the power of magic if you have employed it successfully to obtain your desires. If you deny the power of magic after having called upon it with success, you will lose all you have obtained.
8. Do not complain about anything to which you need not subject yourself.
9. Do not harm little children.
10. Do not kill non-human animals unless you are attacked or for your food.
11. When walking in open territory, bother no one. If someone bothers you, ask him to stop. If he does not stop, destroy him.

Well, Lavey'an satanism is actually an athistic philosophy, but most Atheists don't agree with LaVey's views.
Atheism isn't the worship of oneself, it's not the worship of anything, it's just not believing in anything supernatural. Some Atheists have a naturalist philosophy, others have a humanist philosophy, there isn't one set of beliefs.

Atheists don't believe in the Devil/Satan. You can't worship something you don't believe in. That's just a silly idea religious fundamentalists use to discredit atheists.

Satanism is actually a development of Atheism, so there are quite a few things in common. Theistic Satanism doesn't really exist - only Heretical Christian beliefs.
Satanism renounces a god or any deity - which is exactly what Atheism does. so to everyone saying there isn't any similarities, there are actually alot of similarities.
Satanism isn't evil either. its simply based on personal moral judgement and emotional/physical gratification.

I once heard a friend say that Satanist are just Atheists who crave attention. But no, Atheists don't worship themselves. You don't actually HAVE to be worshipping something to be living.

I guess following satin isn't really a bad idea.

I'm an atheist and I think LaVey was a moron. Sure we have beliefs; I believe my friend when he tells me he'll get me that £10 he owes me. I believe in gravity. Atheists pretty much universally believe in science, and what can scientifically be proven. Satanism is a philosophy (not a religion); but atheism is neither a religion nor a philosophy; atheism is simply rationality brought to its logical conclusion.

As far as respecting other people's beliefs goes, I disagree. Just because there's a stigma about arguing against religious nonsense doesn't mean that it isn't right to do so because religion is an evil force on this world, controlling and manipulating the lives of millions, if not billions, into nothing but fearful servitude of an archaic fairytale and its earthly subordinates. Going to church was boring when I was a kid but the message that was given out really screwed with my head; trying to live to appease a god is not a healthy way to live and I always had a problem with that ever since I was old enough to tell my parents I wasn't going to go to church anymore (about 12). Moreover, the violence that has been perpetuated in god's name throughout history, to the current day is unjustifiable. Holy martyrs; you died for nothing. The religious mindset also has a tendency to make people more susceptible to similar scams which rely on the circular thinking of the individual.
Still, if it makes you happy and you stick to yourself, that's fine. Like... a heroin addict or something. I'm not going to tell you how to live but really think for yourself and question the beliefs that you hold (I know that's kinda against the rules... I wonder why?) and ask yourself if your beliefs can really hold up to the questions.
