Americans: The Jews of the World

The popular 20th Century Jewish American novelist Edna Ferber once wrote "the United States seems to be the Jews among nations. It is resourceful adaptable, maligned, envied and feared... its peoples are travelers and wanderers by nature, moving shifting, restless."

Sadly enough, recent events have proven that Ferber was right. The Jewish people and the United States have a lot in common, both are successful, resourceful, adaptable, highly creative, inventive and hated. Like the Jews, Americans are increasingly the objects of hatred, fear, jealousy, bigotry, prejudice, violence and terror from all corners of the globe and the political spectrum.

Jews did not create the world's most dangerous weapons and then invade other countries when they mey or may not be hiding such weapons.

Jews did not fund Afghan militia and then try to hide it from the public when the Taliban took revenge for the U.S.'s actions during the Gulf War.

Jews did not fund Saddam Hussein's military in the 1980s to kill Iranians and then act surprised when Saddam invaded Kuwait.

Jews did not support or install dictators in Iran, Kuwait, Chile, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Afghanistan and Panama.

Jews are not responsible of the deaths of roughly 5 million people as a result of their support of dictatorships and false wars against other dictatorships or "commies" since 1953.

She could have said: They are both filthy rich, exploitive ( if you know another way of becoming filthy rich, you tell me), self-serving, egotistical, involved in conflicts all the time, hide behind god to justify their actions....

I'm not saying that I completely agree with this article, but it does point out some interesting parallels.

well, here's my thing...I think sometimes the world needs to seperate the government from the people, I mean, I don't agree with the way the government is handling itself right now...but what can I do but vote them the hell out? It's quite comical how you people call anyone who argues against Jews either anti-semitic or a nazi. It's not like you own the American media, more like run and influence it. There are 2.8 million Jews in America, yet 90% of the people in the media are Jewish. Why do you think CNN shows things that happen in Israel half of the time? But don't get me wrong, not all Jews are greedy and self-centered. As for why there is such animosity between Jews and Christians/Catholics is because Christians/Catholics believe that Jesus was the messiah, and the Jews don't so they sent him to his death. Americans are quick to side with Jews because they've been influenced by them through the media all their lives and can't think for themselves, but it doesn't matter because we are all going to die so everyone just shut the fuck up about this and that and lets just have a big orgy.

It's funny how this has inverse racism in it (ie, racism which says one race is good, thus meaning another race is bad.) I think it is unfair to stereotype Jews as resourceful and sucessful because it is much like the Aryan idea. That one "race" is successful.

For the last 100 years, those who feared secret conspiracies focused on two groups: Jews and Freemasons. They say either or both of these groups are trying to take over the world, destroy democracy, all governments, Christianity, all religions, so they can rule over what is left after this destruction.

A factor of the hatred would seem to be the tendency of the Jew to excel and to control, to take over, to dominate. Amazingly, he does this while lamenting his victim status. Kind of how America “helps” a country but we all know in the end America will benefit from it and excel in the long run.

I have nothing against the Jews except that they try and use the victim card for everything. It is said that the holy land will be given to them and that there is no need to take it from its current inhabitants. I mean they strongly believe in their religion but not everyone in the world does so to think that by law we would ask the currents inhabitants to walk out would be rather absurd. Well anyways back to the topic you can clearly relate the US and Jews together in a category. I am not sure what the category would be labeled but yeah they are pretty similar in traits….is it because the Jews run a lot of the politics?.....

The Jews control a lot and people don't see that. I don't want to go as far to say that it has something to do with their race but stereotypically they have quite the tendency to excel. It is kind of like saying most Chinese people are fairly good at math and do pretty well when it comes to education. I don't judge people as a whole race each person is their own person so while I think my boss is a cheap Jew bastard who works you to death on pay day my Jewish friend is rather giving and doesn’t posses a dominate attitude.

To boldly compare Jews to Americans is simply unjust. A.D. once said that as early as 80 years ago 18% of the American public was Jewish. Today those numbers are about 2%. The "Disappearing People" have slowly but surely been bred out. During the rise of anti-semite feelings during the 1950's, many Jews (I refuse to call anyone "so&so-American.") tried distance themselves as figures of ridicule. Goldsteins, Rosenbaums, and the like faded from history in a hail of abbreviated surnames. My parents grew up during those turbulent times, my father from Miami and my mother from Long Island. A clash of both stereotypical locations and a series of events took my family to the south where I have lived since. I spent the ages of 6 up to 13 getting the crap beat out of me. In all seriousness, the new south brought many things to order. For example: a fair fight no longer meant five or sixth rednecks fighting one black person, no, now they included the same odds in fighting an over weight jew kid. I am not bitter about this, If it hadn't happened I'd not be the person I am today.
Jewish people found refuge in their own way. However, in America and over whelming imperialistic attitude have forced people to subjugate their heritage to find solace. To be accepted without the fear of being victimized in a xenophobic shitstorm. Instead of looking for a model to compare the American public to, look to what is not there for the answers. There's one lesson you can learn from the Hebrew people.
