The UK doesn't care about its own 2003-07-07 12:15:33 Reply

Its true, the UK doesn't give a flying fuck about its own people. Its sad but true. All they care about are the imigrants that come over to our country that no others will take in.

Example: There was this family that came over, from romania i think, they got given a 4 bedroom semi detatched house, money to buy a car etc etc.

What the country didn't know was that they were actually renting out their house to 4 other people making loads of money themselves. Eventually they were found out... But many others won't be...

And there are all these homeless people on the streets and the government doesn't do anything for them.

Also this ENGLISH family moved to africa.. or was it south.. damn i can't rememebr.. anyway they bought a farm and used all there money on it, and then were forced to leave the country because they were threatend. "Leave the country or be killed" so they left, couldn't sell the farm or anything, came back to england with nothing except for the clothes that they were wearing and what did the government do for them? Nothing. Why you ask? because it was "Their Choice".

It was there choice to either leave or be killed... not much of a choice is it?

As my Idol George Carlin put it, If you see a politician recive millions of dollars for homing the homeless you are gonna see the homeless in America clear up pretty fucking quick. Beside the homeless don't need homes. Fuck a cardboard box is a home. These people need houses.

Ah, good ol' British politics. Do you know how many refugees and aslyum seekers there were last year? Go on, take a guess, it would be interesting to see how distorted your view of the world is.

The US chooses to help every other country even before they resolve the conflicts here at home. The quality of life in America is considered great...why, because we have so many civil rights?

In NYC a one bedroom apartment is close to $1000 a month not including utilities. I consider the majority of families here to be single parents raising 2 - 3 children. It is almost impossible to pay bills and offer a nurturing fulfilling life to your children. The government could care less they basically give you a hundred forms to fill out and put you on a waiting list for everything.

thus the US has subsidized living as well as welfare to help people get on their feet. let's not forget that minimum wage in the US can't even hold a light up to most wages in almost any country for a menial job. plus that one bedroom apartment with running water and true shelter is going to be better than almost all third world countries.

and if you could find a one bedroom apartment in NYC for $1000 i'm all over it.

now as for UK policy it's seems to be a gesture of goodwill to all those less forunate than they are. it's a good way create a more diversified community and broaden everyone's horizons.

Ahh, the refugees, the butt of every "joke" (by which, I mean the quick fix blame everything culture we have), just to help you to deny the fact that Britain has been up Shit Creek, then gone over Royally Fucked Falls.

Some things never get the chance to change...

Okay thanks for the input. I have lived in america, your food and clothes are cheaper, living costs are cheaper, you get taxed less and payed more than in england.

I have been homeless before, and the governement hasn't given a fuck about me. Yet they do all this shit to all the refugees and stuff.

Our country is full as it is.. yet you see more and more homless people, more and more asylum seekers etc etc

We need to concentrate on ourselves as a country for a while because the place is in ruins. We need straighter roads, more reliable public transport, help for our own people. As soon as we have our country sorted then we can get back to helping those less fortuanate.

I am not agaisn't helping others at all.. but we need to get our style of living the way it was when i lived in america... Apart from all the harsly enforced petty laws. The laws are better over here

Thats NYC man... its an expensive place to live, and in every majour city you can expect to find rates like that

AS for who was talking about the minimum wage.... people who work in mcdonalds in america get payed double almost to what they get payed here in the UK...

no they don't... the uk has been getting progressivly worse in my opinion, but the fact that all our houses and money is going to people that were not even born here is just wrong.

Why is it right to give the countrys money to people who just came in and claimed asylum instead of the people who were born and bread here?
