Generally if you are creating a piece of artwork that isn't traced, you take several references of whatever you are drawing and then you create your own image that is representative of those references, but is still not like any one reference; in other words, you create something that is completely new. In this case we have someone who precisely emulated a single photo; whether it was traced or not (most likely was) doesn't matter because either way it is not an original piece of work. If you don't want to be accused of tracing then don't make something so incredibly similar to the original photo.
There is nothing here at all that would suggest that this wasn't traced. Like I said though, I really don't care, trace all you want because there is nothing wrong with it if you are doing so to better yourself, but don't lie about it if you do.
There is so much more that I would say about this situation, but I am starting to rant, so whatever. This thread is going nowhere and at this point is completely pointless by now anyway.

No it wasn't because I was using it as a generalization for how people are reacting to her leaving. Also, so what if she is your friend -- she is leaving newgrounds not your life; if she is your friend you won't be losing contact with her :/
