Why the HELL would we kill off almost everything on the planet to stop global warming, which, by the way, is a natural cycle of the earth, all we are doing is speeding it up, a lot.
Want proof? There have been multiple Ice Ages and we have come out of them warm and toasty only to start all over again on a new one. So we don't need your idea of nuking ourselves every few hundred years or whatever.
Yes, it's annoying that we're making it faster, but it's nothing new.

I still have no idea why you quoted that particular chart. That chart is misleading as all hell; theres nothing anywhere near a consistent scale on that chart. A. If you look at the heat cycles since the begining of time you see that it gets hotter, then colder, the hotter, the colder, the hotter, ect.

B. You can't think that you can control the weather. Things like that are up to God and if you try to change them then your wasting your time.

C. A volcano produces more CO2 than every car in the world combined. Unless you can manage to stop a volcano from naturally erupting then I think your screwed!

And I thought I've made it very clear that this would be a SMALL, I'll say it again, SMALL project, we're not going to project dirt massively into the atmosphere, just enough to cool it down. It's not that hard a concept to wrap your brain around.

A little cold? An ice age can last millennia and can reach temperatures well below zero, due to an ice age being that either the entire, or majority of the surface of the planet is frozen. You are also going to project enough dirt to cool it down? It is impossible to detonate a nuclear bomb or hydrogen bomb to get a specific amount into the upper atmosphere to cool the planet by a few degrees. Most likely it will be too much, and the planet will freeze.
