Fun Fact: there are more than 2 people running for presidency every election. Do a lot of research about your candidate's past and vote carefully.

Yeah, it's really sad that peopel believe they're stuck in a two-party system. You hear about Democrats and Republicans all the time because they're both supported by millionaires and big corporations. Most of the time they are millionaires.

but, when it comes to selecting the next gentleman of the united states, i'd keep my vote secret.

Why not gentlewoman?

but i was just kidding on throwing awway my vote. it would be the first time im voting in my whole life, so i wouldn't miss it for the world.

Same here ^_^

DEMOCRATS SUCK TOO! THEY HAVE NO SPINES AND like being pushed around by republicans!

Umm nooo, Demacrates are not as radical, or aggressive as the Republicans, but look how much fire they gave during the Clinton scandal. The demecratic party is not something to be put down litely.

a hero is in the eye of the beholder. a hero to one is a heathen to another. i'll use the last Iraqi conflict as an example. troops in the Iraqi desert and considered heroes in the United States on the most part. but i am fairly certain that most people of Arabic descent may disagree.

Yes but the Iraq war wasn't racially motivated nor did the American troops go around killing Iraqi babies here and there (as was the case with the Phillipine conflict).

Voters seem to fall into the empty promises of our politicians. In my eyes an uneducated voter is somewhat dangerous considering most of the people who vote today have no clue about what their candidate really stands for. On top of that we have an electoral college which eliminates any chance for individual votes to hold weight at all.

People are afraid of the third parties because they want to pursue unconventional ideas. American voters don’t like change so they continuously allow democrats and republicans to control the political atmosphere. It is quite sad because the third parties have good ideas in my opinion.

Heh, I don’t vote, I never did and never will. You cannot fix a corrupt system with more of the same. Just like you can't get peace through more weapons and can't stop crime with more police, you can't fix politics with more political maneuvering. Politics itself breeds corruption. Plenty of idealists got into politics for all the right reasons, and left doing all the wrong things.
