okay it's now officially 2 years drug free,smoke free and booze free,thanks to the community in my town for the support!!!okay the meaning of this thread is make straight edge art but to make clear what i will not tolerate in this thread is:

-MS paint
-sexual or racist images
-stolen art
-crappy art
-and art thats of the subject

and please if you have no other program than MSpaint at least spend more then 10 minutes on your piece of art,and make it look decent

Ian McKaye started straight edge because when he became a punk, a rebel, he actually wanted to do something, but he just took a turn into an alley of kids using punk as an excuse to get fucked up and cause a rowdy mess. A generation of kids who percieved "Be yourself, do what you want, don't let anyone stop you" a wee bit wrong.
So Ian said fuck that I don't want to be like that. And it's not like he inforced straight edge, he just made a few songs about it and kids said "Hey I don't want to be like that either!" and joined in.

Now 20 years later we got kids who believe they're superior to kids who smoke, drink, do drugs, oooh fancy!

Straight edge is about choice, it's saying punk doesn't have to be like this (among other things).
