American has just bought its freedom yet again from the ICC (the Internation War Crime Tribunal). The US has negotiated yet another year exempt from war crimes. After giving financial support/aid to the ICC and other 3 world order countries such as Cambodia, the US cannot be held accountable for war crimes.

Oh joy...I think I'll go be sick now...I mean, is it really better to buy exemption rather than just face up to war crimes when and if they're commited? I say we should be punished same as anyone else.

Not to sound like a prick but which war crimes are you talking about? Iraq?
Who exactly is the ICC and how could they hold the US accountable for anything?
and how much in funds were given?

the annogram might not be in english.
As for the right, the ICC gained the right to try countries following the creation of 'International War Crimes' after the Jewish Genoicide of WWII. Or do you believe their justidiction over Germany was leget but not over America, for whatever reason?

Unfortunatly, yes, money talks. But here is a question. Does it talk too much with the people that hold it or the ones that don't? Because even the people who are not "high ranking citizents" can change things.

America is a country run by lawyers. We don't believe that right or wrong is important. Anything is ok as long as you can avoid being held accountable, or make the punishment unimportant to you.
Of course I actually agree with the action in Iraq. I just hate Bush, republicans, and attacking a country just because you say they have some weapons that you already developed and tested.

It's always nice *sickening* to know that if we hold enough money to support a few nations we don't really give to clicks about, we'll be able to commit as many crimes as we want without the fear of being prosecuted for them. If Hitler had lived in the current day and been at the helm of the United States, genocide would have continued on and his pure world would have been right on track.

By the way, has anyone else noticed they're already building an execution chamber, before the Guantanamo trials have begun? Talk about deciding the outcome early.
Meanwhile, why does Blair act all shocked, horrified and heroic when some British troops are captured in Iraq, yet when a couple of US citizens are in Guantanamo awaiting entry to the Amnesty International statistics, he doesn't bat an eyelid, lift a finger, or give a damn? Oh, it's because they're "terrorists", and he doesn't want to give them the opportunity to defend themselves, despite the fact they should as they're not illegal aliens, but citizens of an ally of the US, so therefore should have a fair trial, not a military hearing which is one way traffic anyway.

i love you too, sheesh, watch it with the hating.
The unfunny thing is, Guantanamo is gonna be a big execution fest, and if they think that will put an end to terrorism, then they have no idea what their talking about, theyre just creating people who like them, want vengence for the loss of lives.

I also want to know why he describes 5000 Iraqui Civilians as 'killed' while four Red Caps are 'Brutally Murdered.'

Brief update: 80 other MPs, of all parties, have demanded that they be repatriated before their execution hearing (which is still hilariously being called their "trial"), but something says Blair is too busy trying to bully the BBC, while clearing Alastair Campbell of all rightdoing, to give a shit.

I'm wondering how long before we get protests, since one of them, Feroz Abassi, is from my area. Hey, a local boy made good in the US!!! Tells you a lot about Croydon...
