No? If they are traced the propotions are mostly correct. A few good artists draw them by hand. There you can tell propotional differences instantly. Also weapons which do not exist are obviously not traced.
Art is something individual, nobody should try to copy something exactly how it is. Just let it happen and it will be the most beautiful thing you've ever experienced.
If you have a good photographic memory you can easily memorize the main looks of (for example) weapons...
But maybe draw a gun that doesent excist? :P
I MIGHT add one of my guns which I use in my certain pics (which I draw to amuse myself and myself only at the moment ), dont worry, its not a cheap thing or anything, I acctually planned this weapon a little and did some changes :P
