In terms of an investment in games a console is probably far better.

You have to upgrade them far less often than a computer, and they're cheaper in the first place.

First, I vote they just bring back the Nintendo 64. They had their stuff right there. Second. Just play Starcraft for the rest of your life. You will never need another game after that.

i have a 360 and it has a lot of weird games to play. i played a ps3 and the games for it are shit. wii's can be fun but there hard to get used to. handhelds are just somethign to do on the car ride over.

I kind of agree with that. I play my 360 a lot just because of the online play. But yes, it has so many problems (Did we really expect something else from Microsoft?), The PS3 is too damn expensive, and the Wii's graphics suck. Seriously, have you compared CoD3 on the Wii and the 360? The Wii version looked like they shipped it halfway through completion of textures and models.

Man do I love my Sega Genesis though. Sonic 2, Lethal Enforcers 2, Vector Man (was that one or two words, its been so long, my brother sold it, the bastard), Beavis and Butthead, countless other great games. The graphics may suck even worse than Wii, but they were good for the games they made. I like the look of the old Sonic games better than any recent game for the series. Shit how I miss my Genesis.

I personally stick to my PC or possible PS3/GC, but that's just cause PC is more multi-use (obviously), PS3 will continue to forcefully have Final Fantasy games (which are evidentally getting worse and worse), and the GC has the "Tales of ...." series.

Get them a shot and stop complaining. Can't you see all the large titles are coming out for the holiday season or 2008? Xbox 360 isn't working well just cause it's microsoft and they tend to rush things. There will be a fix soon. The PS3 has tons more games coming out later and the wii has lots of huge titles coming out later too.

Just upgrade your pc, cause lets face it, not only are shooters and graphics better but they do soooooooooo much more than consoles (programs, internet, msn etc). Wait for a price drop and the big titles before you waste your money.
