Exactly. Global warming will happen one way or another anyway. The sun is becoming hotter and there is nothing we can do about it.

Increased temperatures don't make holes in ozone layers, and apparently, if global warming doesn't exist, then the hole in the ozone layer doesn't cause global warming either.
Ozone stops UV rays.
UV rays don't produce heat. They can give you cancer but the don't make you warmer. Thats why you can still get a tan in the freezing winter aslong as the sun is out.

Actually, water is one of the few elements that expands when it is frozen. Why do you think ice cubes float at the top of your drink?

The sun won't go supernova, its mass isn't great enough, it will however engulf the earth causing everyone to die in a fiery cataclysm. But we won't be around then right?.......
Right?

Actually, water is an exception. It expands, when it freezes. However, not all of the polar ice is "floating", a lot of it are huge glaciers above ground and on mountain tops. Moreover, the polar ice reflects a lot of sunlight back to space, keeping the planet cooler. If they melt entirely, the earth will absorb much more sunlight, which could make global warming permanently irreversible.
Then we get a huge cooler...
Or, you know, wory about the massive 1.8 degree climb in temperature over the last 500 years...

Has anyone bothered to factor in things such as active volcanoes? Those things spew tons of shit into the air when they erupt. Personally, I think the severity of global warming has been blown out of proportion.

Lol, no they wouldn't. The freezer would release energy in the process of freezing the ice, thus just making your venture pointless and energy wasting.

In fact, one volcanic eruption in history (I'm not sure which one) put more carbon dioxide and greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere than all of mankind ever did throughout history.

It's a completly seperate issue and they're not related to each other in any significant way.

Well, I said "apparently, if global warming doesn't exist, then the hole in the ozone layer doesn't cause global warming either". So that's basically saying they're unrelated issues.
But it's easy to see why the hole in the ozone layer could contribute to global warming. The hole lets UV rays through, because there's no ozone to stop it, and then the rays reflect off the Earth but can't escape, causing the Earth to be heated up. But if that article is right, and there's no global warming, then I guess the hole doesn't cause global warming.

But UV rays don't have any heat value to them.

No, it's because Ice is less dense than liquid water. Not all ice cubes have air in them.

All electromagnetic radiation transfers energy. Heat is a form of energy. I'm pretty sure UV rays transfer heat.

YEAH! Because the Earth's climate has everything to with being liberal or conservative. I love it how politics come to play in matter such as these. Oh yeah, and animals natural habitats are zoo's of course. What we should be doing is spending most of our time and effort trying to protect the zoo territories that way the animals can just get used to their new environment and we get more money. Everybody wins!
* look away here if you do not wish to be educated*
The earth as we know it is only a stage in the planet cycle. It will continuously get warmer until most of the planet is like tropical climate, I mean millions of years man so don't get ur penis in a knot, Then millions of years later the earth will start to get colder again until it reaches pre-historic ice age temprature. This will happen repeatedly until the sun goes supernova and turns earth into an world where life cannot be supported. I got this from different studys by senior trusted scientists, The history channel and much evidence from earths past helps confirm this. This is my theory. If you do not like it. Lump it. Say what you want but this is my belief on why the earth is going to get hot. Chemicals or something in the future may alter this, but for now, This is what Is goin on.
Okay....yet that doesn't explain how the weather is acting so erratic. The last recorded evidence of a "global warming" happened in the Middle Ages where the Earth's Climate tipped slightly. We are at a point in time where the heat is getting so high and the weather is acting insane. Even if this isn't man made, the amount of pollutants we are putting into the atmosphere in unacceptable and DOES hurt out planet if you want to admit it or not.

Planetry/climate cycle and it's not acting erratically. Hurricanes happen during Hurricane season, tornado's during tornado season, everything is acting normally it's just intensefying.

According to NASA the tempertures aren't getting warmer.

Explain how the earth doesn't always have polar ice caps.
Face it, this shit is normal. The planet has gone through this cycle thousands of times before humans were around. We are not destroying the planet, this happens all the time. Life on earth has existed before we even had an atmosphere for chrissakes. Besides which, it won't be the end of humanity either, even if the ice caps were to completely melt tomorrow. It would be a huge blow to the human population, but we'd bounce back easily. Humanity has dealt with worse without the technology we have today.

The incredibly dramatic tempature change occuring in Europe this summer is evidence enough. It's very easy for you people in the U.S to brush it off, since it isn't really affecting you immediatly. But I can't remember a summer like this, nor can my dad or my grandfather.
Explain the past three months of rain, storms and constant overcast weather for this summer, then I'll consider your side.
