If you haven't noticed, we're still there. They're working on a compromise government of the various tribes right now.
These things take time, so don't get too impatient.

I don't think I've ever agree with the Commander before, and most of the time I've found him to be annoying (especially the name) but he's right.
What is that everyone seems to have with my name, El-Disorganized-Avian?

Did you miss the paragraphs about America, and all other nations looking out for thier intrests, and holding America to a double standard?
Correct me if I'm wrong but America is the
only country acting as a global police force.

this is true...but I agree with Anarchy Penguin that it simply shouldn't be totally America's job to set up these new governments, the UN should get in here too...the thing I seem to notice over and over again is that when the UN wants something done, they really just get the American military to do it...and than leave America to clean up...so of course, who's going to get blamed if things go wrong? That hasn't happened for Afghanistan or Iraq...but for the UN to call itself the peace keeping force of the world, they really should demand to be more active in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Feel free give me a link to some sort of news website that talk about the U.S.'s valiant efforts of rebuilding Afghanistan. I shall give you one as a gift.

Um . . . if all of the US's resources are focused on Iraq, then why is most of the Army still in the states, and why are we pulling out of a bunch of other countries and coming home if they are all in Iraq? Of course we aren't putting enough resources into the Taliban's former home, but we still have some there.
