Out of curiosity, where is Newgrounds on the list? I searched the top 500 and didn't see it- maybe it was just me. I also noticed that you could purchase the lists- why would you pay $1000 to get a list of the 10000 most visited websites? I suppose there might be one or two practical uses, but not $1000 worth!

If you’re paying money for software, as a computer professional, I have to seriously recommend you start looking at some other options.

I'm not sure exactly what it is you’re paying for, but I'd be willing to bet there was a free replacement that could do the job better.

I am a very large fan of newgrounds, and a very large foe of Corporate America, and its greed for money.

By purchasing commercial software, you not only get an inferior product, you also fuel its success, which leads only to lower quality and higher prices.

Please consider the alternatives.

nice... i have a internet speed of 256kbs and the site is running slower maybe if you will clear out a lot of accounts cuz i friend of mine signed up and just left it! and that is what the most ppl do. but damn man how many cpu's you have already? goodluck and let the money be with you!;)

I do not think it is worth the effort unless you are getting more users and more money from it. Please do not bring in another update if it is going to be worthless and just mean a lot more XXX advertisments and pop-ups. They are so tacky and annoying.

i rarely have any problems with new grounds, on the occasion i will have an error saying to many damn people are hogging all the room. maybe all you guys should get a LAN connection, its really nice. i also have some suggestions like removing old movies that nobody hardly watches anymore and make it possible to download some of the popular files so that people dont continue to go to the same file over and over again. and if anyone know what happend to kibler tha elf let me know

Stole the words right out of me. Also, I have had problems recently with people uploading Flash files that are absolute shit, and take up near the 5 MB limit. It's nice to get a free blam point, but I feel kinda bad chewing up bandwidth like that after I've watched the "movie". I often end up judging movies by their preloaders and author comments because the congestion gets so bad sometimes (I only do this in clear cut cases, such as when the author says "VOTE 5 or I will flood the portal with this crap!" or "You portal ppl SUCK!" or *shudder* "visit my site at www.out*war...")

I would advise setting higher survival standards for large files (why keep a 5 MB file on your servers that only gets a 1.9?), and perhaps limiting the file sizes of new Flash artists until they prove that they aren't clogging the servers with fetid garbage. Now, I don't submit anything myself, so take this with some grains of salt, but I think this advice is worth considering. We should encourage people to optimize their Flash, and download Flash files they like to their own machines so the load here can be lightened. Anybody else got ideas to reduce BW?
