Yeah, I feel puny. I'ma bett0r fan tho. I'm fan of them since, like, showbiz came.

Shocking I know.

I was reading their forums there the other day, and I came across this.

For a while I thought it could have been me. Then I remembered that it wasn't because I was busy those days.

I though it was me because the stalker( you'll read) was Irish, and I'm their only fan from Ireland, hence why it's only going to be me they're playing for this August.

I think I WIN! MUAHAHHAHA

I saw them in 2004. Do I win anything for that?

Unfortunately I didn't really know who they were :(.
But meh it was free :).
I had another chance to see them for free too, but my friend with the tickets had to work or something.
I was more into Muse at that point.

But I'd love to see them now. I've never been more into them than recently.

Showbiz, I can listen to that song a million times; they perform it so well! Check out this video of them

They recently stop fucking their instruments around after their last song. Which I miss.

That last line wasn't meant to be a cock joke.

I'm definitely joining. Muse have been my favorite band for a long time. I'm going to do a little chart. I'm going to put their top three albums (Absolution, Black Holes & Revelations, and Origin of Symmetry) in order from best to least best, them under each album I will list each song from best to least best. So my favorite album would be Absolution, favorite song from that album would be Thoughts of a Dying Atheist. I love all the albums and songs, and this is just my opinion.

Absolution:
1. Thoughts of a Dying Atheist
2. Hysteria
3. Time is Running Out
4. Blackout
5. Stockholm Syndrome
6. Butterflies and Hurricanes
7. Falling Away From You
8. Sing for Absolution
9. Endlessly
10. Apocalypse Please
11. Ruled by Secrecy
12. The Small Print

Black Holes and Revelations:
1. Knights of Cydonia
2. Starlight
3. Exo-Politics
4. Invincible
5. Map of the Problematic
6. Soldier's Poem
7. Supermassive Black Hole
8. Take a Bow
9. Hoodoo
10. City of Delusion

Origin of Symmetry:
1. New Born
2. Feeling Good
3. Bliss
4. Hyper Music
5. Plug in Baby
6. Citizen Erased
7. Micro Cuts
8. Dark Shines
9. Megalomania
10. Screenager
11. Space Dementia

So apparently, the next Guitar Hero will feature a Muse song.

What are your thoughts on this? I myself have no problem with it, it's only annoying when you're listening to a Muse song and everyone thinks you got them off Guitar Hero. Goes for any band that comes from Guitar Hero, really.

If it's Plug In Baby then I'm buying it.

I suppose, but I hate it when someone says "Muse? Oh I love that band!" Then you say "What's your favorite song?" And they go "Oh I love Knights of Cydonia! I think it's their best song!" It's their best song because it's the only song you know (excluding the 25% of the time when they really do mean it) . There are better Muse song than Knights of Cydonia, and I wish people would really look into the band more before they start calling themselves fans >:[

I know exactly what you're saying, but the way I see it is the more people who play that and like the song then the more people who will look into more of their stuff, better stuff. Everyone has to start somewhere =P

I don't care about 'fake' muse fans from GH and KoC, if anything, Dragonforce has got it far worse.

Anyway, I'm glad it's in GH3, because it's SO FUCKING FUN TO PLAY. Seriously, 9 times out of 10, if I'm on Guitar Hero, I'll have a whirl at KoC, along with my other favourite tracks.

There was also a Muse track pack, which wasnt so good. Stockholm Syndrome, Exo Politics, and Supermassive Black Hole. Nothing wrong with the songs, but SBH and Exo are too easy, and Stockholm is dead boring except for the riff + solo.

Rock Band has Hysteria, must be impossible to play that bass line.

There are also custom songs people have hacked into Guitar Hero 2 (and GH3 on PC), these include:
Plug In Baby
Citizen Erased
New Born
Thoughts of a Dying Atheist
City of Delusion
Showbiz
Starlight

Also, while looking for those, I came across the following awesome videos:

Citizen Erased on spoons
Hysteria on spoons
Stockholm Syndrome on spoons

WOAH LINK, USE YOUR SPIN ATTACK!

Haha, that's what you call a guitar hero fanboy. My favorite song by them isn't KOC, so that must mean i dig fairly deep.

it's bliss btw

I don't have the time, energy, willpower, or desire, to do that.

I do, however, have guitar hero.

Go figure.

Ew. I adore the song Stockholm Syndrome but yeah those tracks do sound like they'd suck on Guitar Hero. What a waste.

These are seconds within the song that it'll be boring as to play, as according to the album version.

0.22 > 1.18
1.20 > 1.59
2.07 > 2.35
2.38 > 3.14
3.56 > 4.32

Thanks for your time.

I suppose you don't get the same feeling of contribution when playing a pointless game :).

I don't look for a feeling of contribution, I look for half an hour or so of mashing some brightly coloured buttons on a fisher price guitar while staring at a computer screen.

I never said you were looking for a feeling of contribution.
My point is that when you're playing music on a real guitar every part of a song is enjoyable. And I attribute that to a feeling of contribution.
And perhaps due to the fact there is more than four options available to you.
