Haha, I'd actually say that for Showbiz.

Hey I don't know if any of you already knew this, but guess what got number 1 on the Triple J Hottest 100 for 2007? Not entirely unexpected, but it's Kinghts of Cydonia, which was closely followed by Silverchair's Straight Lines, and third was the Kings of Leon with On Call. The entire list is here if you want it.

Knights of Cydonia has seriously grown on me, especially the live from HAARP version. The crowd chanting along to the beginning riff is electrifying.

Gotta love the trumpet :D

It also gets better half way through when the ´no ones got to take me alive´ kicks in.

Very Muse related post.

This however is a great Muse performance. Just listen when the intro kicks in. Magic.

That's what you call pure brilliance...I would have given nearly anything to be there... Oh well, maybe one day I'll travel abroad and see them live, though that won't be for a while I imagine.

Really?! That's awesome. Do Muse ever do international tours, or do they tend to just do UK ones?

I´m sure they´ve done international gigs. I´ve never been to any though.

On their site, it has tour dates (click at the bottom) And apparantly they´ll be playing in Cape Town tomorrow, but it doesn´t have any more dates. You can also see the tours they have done in previous years (They went everywhere in 06!)

Yeah they did go everywhere then eh. I noticed that they did a few gigs in Australian capital cities in January last year. So here's hoping they'll come back in the near future!

I could never get into the muse.

I can understand why people would like them, I just could never get into it despite trying on several
occasions.

Don't know why.

Also I have several friends who are die-hard muse fans....so yeah.....

I've said my two cents, bye now.

I came at every possible opportunity during that gig, not just during time is running out prechorus.

From the various videos i´ve just watched on youtube, that gig looked amazing. I probably would have spazzed out from the excitement if i was really there.

My top three by Muse would have to be:

1)Thoughts of a Dying Atheist
2)Knights of Cydonia
3)Time Is Running Out

I was never really a big fan of Butterflies and Hurricanes, but I just decided to give it a listen, and I now realize just how super sexy that song is.

Well, actually, what a coincidence. When I try to listen some of Muse's songs including Butterflies and Hurricanes, and the lyrics are so beautiful that I can't forget in my head.

What I love about the song though is the piano solo. I really want to learn that when I have the time.
