I got that recently as well actually. It wasn't that big on me until I suddenly started humming it one evening without remembering which track it was. In a bout of "Wait, which one is that? I suddenly like it" I went and checked the previews again and it was UD. Now I really like it. :3

One of my friends got back from one of the Teignmouth gigs yesterday and said it was one of the best gigs he's ever been to. Just makes me more optimistic for November.
Also he will have heard some of the Resistance tracks in full now. Jealousy strikes.

Quite a short set, all in all. Can't have been much longer than an hour and a quarter or so.

I need to hear Exogenesis in its entirety. Srsly. I can't stop listening to the iTunes previews. Redemption especially sounds amazing.

Haha what the hell is Cave doing in there? It's a shame they don't do Bliss anymore, they used to finish with it, the version at the end of Hullabaloo in particular was quite good. It's good to see they're doing Knights last, I noticed they didn't do it at then end of HAARP and on other dates but Matt goes all out doing it last, the best version of any of there songs live (online or otherwise) was when they finished with Knights in Nov '07

Maybe I've just become a big Ibanez fan but I personally think it'd look better on an RG or something. Les Paul's just took weird if they're not in a plain or sunburst finish.

Just listened to it the first time through. Here are my impressions.

MAJOR SPOILERS MAJOR SPOILERS MAJOR SPOILERS

Uprising - song was alright before, but it just fits in perfectly with the bombast of the album.
Resistance - should've been opener. Amazing song, incredibly catchy verses that are just dying to be heard live
Undisclosed Desires - don't judge because it's not musey enough for you, this song is pretty good.
United States Of Eurasia - SIA! SIA! SIA! as with uprising, on its own fairly weak but in the middle of a great album
Guiding Light - aka Invincible Mk II. Srsly, there's even one bit that sounds just like the beginning to the solo in invincible
Unnatural Selection - aka New Born Mk II. organs for a bit then RAW POWER RAWR RWARWARAWRAWR
MK Ultra - a bit weaker than it sounded in the 30 secs preview, imo. Not bad i guess. A lil' contrived prhaps.
I Belong To You - Stomper of a song, I can't help tapping my feet to it. And she attacks me like a Leo! The added french song I cared for less.
Exogenesis:
Overture - A bit boring, I must be honest. Never really got anywhere.
Cross-Pollination - Picks up, turns into a Butterflies & Hurricanes middle-section-esque piano diddle.
Redemption - Moonlight Sonata-esque piano bit leads into INSPIRING TUNE TO INSPIRE THE UNINSPIRED. Around half-way through it turns into a lovely muse song, can't work out what he's saying though. He's going on about getting it right though, good on him.

Undisclosed Desires is my favourite on there, shortly followed by Unnatural Selection and Resistance.

Undisclosed Desires is brilliant, it's like a sexy Industrial song, kind of Reznor ish
Resistance queered me out a bit with the "It could be wrong, It could be wrong"

The only problem with the album is there is no really stand above song, nothing that's gonna get Knights of Cydonia, Stockholm Syndrome or Plug in Baby fame IMO

The album is a hit song away from being excellent, I want Unnatural Selection to be on Guitar Hero, speaking of which has anyone seen the Matt Bellamy vid of Guitar Hero, windmilling in HAARP outfit, no? well it's out there.

I simply refuse to listen to anything other than USOE, Uprising and the 30 second previews until Monday when I (hopefully) have a copy in my own hands.

I hope I end up giving the Resistance a 7 or higher. I'm not going to get the leaked version, I preordered the CD online and will wait and cherish the moment. I didn't listen to the preview either. I hate you be an ass, but I think you are all bad fans for listening to the leak.
