Personally I'm just praying The Resistance is good as a whole. I've been doing some thinking and I've concluded if every song on the album is like Uprising and the SIA SIA SIA section of USOE, then I haven't very high hopes unfortunately. I know Muse are changing and evolving and all that, but I'm worried about its direction. I know people were saying stuff like this when SMBH was the first single of BH&R, but I can't help but be slightly concerned about the way things are heading.
I'm seriously hoping the rest of the album is bloody spectacular and more of a recognisable Muse sound otherwise I'm not so sure how well it'll be received.

I think it'll sound pretty diverse, coming from the way they hinted at it from the interviews, so I'm not really too worried. I mean, you have to give them a little leeway for the album, they've only released two songs..

I like it very much. I like it when they do cartoony stuff, like with Origin.

It's better than the Uprising single cover anyway.

Weird. Maybe it's symbolic or something, since that's what they seem to be doing after the treasure hunt stuff. Like something about how the UK will be the last to "uprise" against Eurasia.

Ha which is disgusting by the way, but they're gonna get the first taste of the new content live and even then it seems like eastern europe is getting all the shows before. Still no Oceania dates, I'm guessing they're gonna do the Big Day Out tour with a sideshow in Melbourne and Sydney, that seemed to be the BHaR schedule.

Zane Lowe Radio1

It explains the USoE game was an idea based on a novel and how casual they are with "dangerous" songs

The Teddy covers are amazing.

The actually album art is really cool too, I just don't think it suits the title at all.

I do agree softpaks fucking suck.

But I can learn to live with the annoyance of them. It's the cd itself that matters.

BH&R originally came out in softpak on release date, but later in a regular plastic case, which is what I have.

I'm prepared to wait for the CD of The Resistance.
