Of course you can.

But first, what are your favorite songs or favorite albums? Anything other than "plz could i be part of ur club muse rule"?

Don't forget the initiation ceremony where he has to stand in front of a picture of Matt Bellamy and touch himself.

We all went through it.

Cool. Welcome. Now stand in front of a picture of Matt Bellamy and touch yourself.

Also, how did you (and this applies to everyone else too) discover Muse.

Personally, Thoughts of a Dying Atheist is the theme song for an AMAZING Youtube Halo 3 machinima Deus Ex Machina. That's why I love that song, it is great in context to that show. That was the first Muse song I heard that really amazed me.

I first discovered Muse when I was in a huge van with a bunch of friends going on some trip. I forgot where. and we all had cd players (before Ipods were really popular). so I was listening to a mix cd from a guy who was way into Muse and in the mix was Time Is Running Out. I started listening to it and really really liked it and before I knew it, I had listened to it about 10 times. and that's when my Muse obsession began.

I heard The time is running out on TV about 5 or 6 years ago, and really liked it. I didn´t instantly go and look for more muse, but i knew they were good since then. I only sortof really got into muse recently really. Maybe about a year and a half ago.

When Supermassive Black Holes was released, I decided to buy the album. Then it snowballed from there.

My cousin was listening to Starlight (probably the only somewhat popular-ish Muse song here in the US) like a year or so ago, and I was like "That band gives me a boner."

The first muse I ever heard? That I took note of, Time Is Running Out, when it was around in the charts, september 2003.
But I didn't listen to any other Muse until Another Day 5 (still one of my favourite flashes on NG) came out next spring, with Unintended as the soundtrack. Then I took enough interest to rip their albums onto my ipod etc etc.

Go watch it now.

I remember seeing the video for Bliss once on tv but forgot to check what the song and artist was, and back then I didn't have the internet so didn't know I could check lyric sites, don't know if they had them then anyway. I always just about remembered that song though, I would have got into them from that if I bloody remembered to look at the tv for details on who sang it.

Later, just like with everyone else Time Is Running Out was released. A friend of mine in class was all like "Leanne, you will really like this song!", she played it, I listened, I liked it, I liked it enough to download other songs from Absolution, I liked them, I brought the album, I played it to death, I got the other albums and the rest is history.

I discovered Muse because of a video I saw on the Internet that used one of their songs in it. I realized I liked the video because of the song, not the movin' picture. So I looked it up, and the rest... is in my post history.

I discovered Muse properly when I heard Knights of Cydonia being played in HMV. I recognised the song, but didn't know what it was called and who by. Then I found out it was by Muse and recognised that I'd heard of Supermassive Black Hole and Starlight previously. So I decided to download Black Holes & Revelations, then moved backwards through their albums and the rest is history.

Ditto.
I only realised I liked them enough to call myself a fan when I gave Absolution a spin during one of my late night Cham Manager plays. I thought I might as well seeing as I was playing New Born practically every day in order to be prepared for recording it at Uni.
I listened to them a lot in that period. But thats when my interest in them grew and I decided to check out the other albums.

I'm really, really hoping they come to Musikfest, which is this music festival in my city. No good bands ever come, and all my friends except me go every year. If they come, I might actually have a reason to go =\

I've heard of Muse's awesomenss a few times and Gagsy had a sig with the band in it, so I thought I'd check them out. I got BH&R and listened to it all the way through 3 times.

Haha, I meant 'properly' as in how I discovered Muse properly in my life after only hearing about them here and there before hand.
No confrontation meant. :)

Don't know, doesn't it really depend if they release something between now and then? And haven't they been touring for a damn long time, probably want to step back for a little bit.
