and go to the last page and look for the first flash about clock day and thats around the number of flashes submitted for clock day you could minus probably like 50 though because some people submitted non clock things and then you can add the obituarys haha

Tom as well as staff members. Occasionally they have a soft spot for stuff that isn't great or anything. You should watch "99K" though. It's a very good experimental flash that even has a preloader game and shows what can be done with small filesize. Admittedly today generally the lower the filesize the lower the quality, but you have to admit that that isn't always true.

Why are these god damn clocks being encouraged? I just saw a movie that was 0.5kb with the text "TTTT" written on the screen with a score of 3.70; this is completely ridiculous. It's a huge slap on the face to all the great Flash artists here who struggle to get 3.50...

That, my friend, is what has become of the portal, and that it shall stay unless those of us who wish for the portal to live on in dignity go out there and begin the blamfest. I don't care if my voting power isn't enough to stop the hoard, but I'm going to keep blamming until one of the submissions finally nail me with a virus. And then I'll blam a little longer until my connection is cold and dead.

Try to get it blammed? Are you stupid? Something can't be blammed if it's already made it through the portal unless it's stolen or has illegal/excessively pornographic content, and that takes special request. And it is neither stolen or containing illegal content, so I think that's hopeless... plus the NG staff is working WITH the clock crew, so it wouldn't work. The clock crew is an incredibly powerful force, and while there are people who have fruitlessly tried to stop the clocks in the past, it hasn't worked because the clocks shut it down before it can begin and there's nothing anyone can do. Most people don't really have the sense of "honor" you do and realize that this is just a website. It is the most awesome website ever, but it is still a website and the Clock Crew cannot be erased from NG history. I'm sorry, but it can't. People who hate the clock crew take NG waaaaay too seriously and don't really have a good grasp on NG culture. Love them or hate them, they're here to stay and so is Clock Day. Deal.
