Much needed bump!

I'm about to buy my own scanner... Thus I'd be able to post in the forums more often.
And what do I do then?
This:
DigiDoodles 01:
That's all what I'll be able to do with a tablet until I can get the hang of it...
But damn me if I let a fucking piece of hardware gets over me.
So that's why I'm posting this here so everybody can see. I'll try to practice as often as I can.
Hope I can improve soon...

I've decided to post here everything related to my current Book Fair '10 stay.
A mate from my latest job had to attend once again his employer's booth, and he asked me, as he did last year, to make sum doodle in his current notebook.
Here's the result. I'll hand it to him tomorrow... Hope he likes it.

I have to private tutor again. Damn it. So I bought a notebook, and seeing the pen was being a bit hard on the paper, I decided to loosen it doodling a bit.
Being my current mood a bit low, I thought it would be great to draw something nice and cheerful, something that rise the spirits of everybody watching it, characters who could put a smile on the face of every moody guy.
But instead of that, I drew clowns.
Meh, that's what you deserve.

Either my scanner isn't performing well, or I need to use a darker pencil.

It's really more of an ant's eye view.

Bird's eye view is from above, looking down. This is the exact opposite.
Either way, the perspective on this piece is pretty amazing. His left leg seems to kind of disappear, though.

I tend to erase all my schoolbook doodles soon after creation - having them in the book isn't a good idea when they pick them up to send them off to the panel, and I've gotten busted for it several times already. I suppose I'll scan them before I go ahead and erase the hell out of them.

In the meantime, heres a really, really old sketch that I half-turned (Never finished and eventually deleted) into a fanart for Iji.

but they are not all the same...not at all

and since we dont get to determine what words mean on a person to person basis, either you are going to have to learn to use the right term or get used to being corrected in a group of peers.

its not an insult to be corrected

Deciding to bump this topic with a 10 minute doodle done in physics. It gets boring in there, okay? I can't count the things I did wrong on one hand, but thought it wasn't so bad for something done in 10 minutes.

That stance suggests me lots of things... And all of them really indecent. Don't feed the smut-monger!

Gosh, thanks a lot! Glad to know those fellas were able to brighten someone's day, after all.

More doodling in the bus.

With the private tutoring, come the long bus rides again. So today, I managed to scribble something in my "most amazing" (story for later...) notebook. Rearranged for sake of space.
The shades guy on the corner was a bloke I caught a glimpse of through the window. He had a big white band-aid covering his eye with that sunglasses over it, and he looked kinda imposing and awesome... So I tried to draw that image as fast as I could so I wouldn't forget that easily.
Hope you like them!

Why how could you forget after a short burst of glimpse ,it's kind of hard to forget a face like that honestly... There's no way it could been a age factor could it like how the neaurons would stop producing cells that go for the short and long term memory? ...How fast did you have to do them exactly?

You know, I'm an old fart... Lots of shit happens during the day, so I'd eventually forget that unusual countenance... And I also thought it would be a good exercise, too. It'd take maybe five minutes... After all, I was doing that in a moving bus, so you have to stop often and wait for the vehicle to go steady and not to tremble too much... that stuff. Hey, the guy was not a Schwarzenneger look-a-like, but he could pass as a Terminator allright!
Can't post without pic, so here's some from a previous day.

I haven't been to a swimming pool since I was a kid. But last Sunday, I could go to one.
And, apart some skinny-dipping, here's what I got out of it.

Do you usually draw on graph paper? It's not that I have anything against graph paper, there tends to be plenty of it and it does have extremely limited use in society, so it makes sense that more often then not it would be used for some kind of drawing... thing.

Anyway, love the pictures and how you've managed to spread your drawings over several different styles of detail and posing. Works.

Graph paper is actually very helpfull for drawing since it eliminates the use for guides; anatomy stuff (human adult male is 7-8 heads high; 3 wide) just gets that much more easier.

dont know if im right in the 3 heads wide thing; just an example.
