Too much of ANYTHING is bad for you, addicted or not. Video game addicts, gambling addicts, for a start. Those have bad consequences, assuming you don't either bet your house on ponies or let your kid die in a bathtub while playing WoW.
Cigarettes are bad, yes, my dad smoked them in front of my face since I remember anything, and I'm feeling the effects of it now. Hard to breathe, chest pain and tightness, for a start, when I have only touched Marijuana once.
I'm a computer junkie, and it's probrably the main reason why I procrastinate so much, and inevitably get bad grades and put off my social life so much, when I could be focusing my mind on something like, making a friend, taking someone out, or actually living up to my potential in school. So tell me again if addictions aren't bad.
