Well im starting it in less than a week as a fresh man and AT a public school and im kinda worried as to what its like I have one of my friends goin to that school and a few others so err im not sure if its really a bad school but still new crap.

So is it nothing to worry about or just dont bother anyone and nothing will happen?

It sounds like you should be okay, you live in florida.
When I move back to Dallas I'm going to have to go back to private schooling though. The public schools in Dallas are very dysfunction- if you live there you know what I mean.

I remember when I was in highschool, me and my friends would "initiate" the new grade 9s.
Actually, I'm proud to say that it was because of our actions that initiations are not only banned, but will have police intervention.

When I was a freshmen, when a upperclassman tried to talk shit (Mostly Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors knew what they were doing most of the time) I talked shit back to them. Surprisingly I never got beat up once in my freshmen year and quite a lot of freshmen did. I was one of the few survivors.

well heres the thing I can fight but not to well sometimes. I have a high tolerance for pain but still just say some shit back to them and usally it ends?

Depends, I need to be at your school to know these things.

For instance, it is a good idea to be friends with literally everyone in your freshmen year. For plenty of backup. Like me, when I entered my freshmen year and a upper threatened to fight me, I had friends behind me who said they will help me. But still, only do that if you are desperate not to get beat up. I would never ask for help in a fight however, makes you look like you can't defend yourself.

Nothing really happened at my school, but its about 98% white people. The worst thing that happened was senior football jocks yelling "FRESHMAN!" or "WATCH IT IN MY HALL FRESHMEN!" if you were late to class.

Also, it is quite hard to fight indoors in my school. There are security cameras everywhere! I am talking all the halls, classrooms, bathrooms (Yes, I know, lucky cops get to see the girls bathrooms).

Look its your freshman year, ofcourse its not going to be the best year youve ever had.
Upper classmen will haze you just for being a freshman.
The only comfort I can offer you is telling you, its not the end of the world, your going to make friends and lose friends, but in the end it doent matter because it is just highschool, hichool is but a footnote in your life story, so focus on your studies have some fun lean back and watch 4 years of your life fly by before you know it you will be on your 2nd year of college you will be living in an appartment with your best friend or girlfriend or whoever and you'll be telling the same story to some other kid asking the same question and would like some answers.
