Welcome to The Dancefloor!

This crew is for all the NGers who appreciate, listen to and enjoy music such as:
- Gabber
- Hardstyle
- Electro
- Dance/Trance/House

Basically, for the users who regularly go out and about to clubs and parties and need a thread to relate to users with similar interests music-wise and party-wise.

Rules:
- We must always follow the NG BBS Rules
- No flaming/spamming
- Stay on topic

Staying on topic would involve discussing music genre, new music, recommending nightclubs, criticising nightclubs, talking about recent parties and general chit-chat.

Great, I myself listen to mostly trance and electro but most genres stated in first post are my preferences.

Well, I can see this club is off to a flying start. I guess I'll start the topic on under 18s discos. There is one not far from where I live, which is alright, but gets repetitive with the same DJs etc. The music is good with a variety of R'n'B, electro dance, trance and house.

Pulse only just beats out Chill because of the celebrity appearances. I mean, Potbelleez were crazy and the crowd loved it. Nothing to set an atmosphere like a chart topping band.

That dance looks kinda stiff in the beginning and then it starts to get all crazy when the music picks up. Loved how his legs looked like rubber bands the way he was moving them. XD

Yeah, you are right. I just considered jumpstyle a dance more then genre. Either way, jumpstyling is very popular here in Australia, well just starting to anyway...

Jumpstyle isn't really popular in the USA for some odd reason. In the USA, most people like rap, which some rap is good but it's really not for me. I'm the Techno, Trance, Jumpstyle, Ambient, Electro type of guy. :)

Jumpstyle kinda just started here, so seeing it in clubs and at parties is new and excitng all the same. I kinda got the hang of it, but I'm working more on this shuffle/running man trick my mate does. It's a kind of fusion of both dance moves and when you do it with hardstyle and electro music it looks great.

I'm not a large fan of Ambient, probably coz I don't know what it is. Care to link me? As for your other fave genres, you're alright in my books.

But you gotta admit, jumpstlye is active dancing that can get you moving and fit. It's not one of those dances that makes you stand there waving your arms up and down. XD

Same here. O yeah, what genre do you hate the most? I hate Reggatone or whatever the shit is called. It's so repetitive and they used the same beats and rhythems in EVERY song. >:(
