Has anyone here ever played E.T. the Extra Terrestrial for the Atari 2600? I played it yesterday and I thought that it was the best game ever! I'm glad that I decided to give my dad's Atari a try. Sure, the graphics are incredibly lame compared to today's standards, but Atari games can be so simplistic, yet fun.

E.T. is such a fantastic game that there is a whole landfill full of E.T. cartridges buried in New Mexico.
If you dig below the concrete deep enough, I bet you could find a working cartridge.
Why do people hate that game so much? Why is it considered the worst video game ever?

It's a fun, fantastic game for only being made in 5 weeks! I love E.T. the game.
I'm gonna beat it again for fun.

Hahaha, I love Atari, that game was ridiculous, I could never beat it, but I still play it and have fond memories of playing it while I was like, 4.

Aren't the 8 bit graphics just so fantastic? It is quite literally, the funniest game I've ever played in a long time. I'd recommend this game for anybody to play.
