Along with starting Blackout 2, I've been working on a Blackout game. Although most of the games I make get as far as the main menu and are then never worked on ever again, this game is looking pretty good. (Of course, that's what I said with every other game.) Blackout -the game- will be a side scrolling type of game, with maybe some other elements added in. (Like first person shooter.)

Cutting to the chase, I'd like to let the people on NG contribute to my game too. Just make some graffiti of some sort, and I might put it on the wall in the background of the game or something like that. For example, you could write "Bob was here" or something. You could just write your name in cool letters or something. It doesn't have to be your name though. It could be a picture too. I won't include inappropriate things in my game. You can add some blood, but that's pretty much it.

Once you've made some graffiti, just post a reply to this and add your picture. If there are a lot, I might not include all of them, but you never know. Have fun! :)

Oh, and no backgrounds besides plain white or black or whatever. Just something I can easily edit off the actual graffiti. Sorry, I forgot to say that for a while. Also, if you don't understand what I mean, it should be kind of like the picture below, except perhaps better. But it doesn't have to be better. I'm just giving all you guys a chance to put something on my game. Not that you'd really want to, but still... Oh and the lines and stuff in the background on my picture shouldn't be there in your picture. Like I said above. Well, that's all for now! ;)

There's not much else I can do. I'm not sure if putting it in a brighter area would do anything, but it might. :P I can blur it a bit. Does that look any better?

Nice. Here's what it looks like in-game. I know, not as great as it is on it's white bg, but still not horrible.

Not to be rude or anything, but you shouldn't edit the pictures in like that, ask for the actual .fla file of the graffiti so it will be clean and you can jut throw it on there just the way it looks, without a fuzzy white border around it. If the rendering of the graffiti causes Flash to lag, then have them published as .png images with transparency.

You should kinda blend the graffiti. Right now it stands out too much. Gray it some and make it look aged. I think that'll help.

Whoops, sorry. My computer is messed up. :P Long story. (In writing, at least.) Anyways, everyone, use the color #595959 for your bg. It works better, and won't be very fuzzy around the edges or anything.

Yeah, just to quickly explain why I posted that random gibberish post, it was because when I clicked the Post it! button, it said I had to wait 27 minutes or something because I had posted too many times in the last 30 minutes. I left it for a while, then decided I wanted to know how many times you could post in 30 mins. So I went back to this, typed some random gibberish, and pressed Post it!, expecting something to pop up and say I'd posted too many times, but instead it actually posted. This has happened to me at least twice since then. :P Well, whatever. Maybe it said 30 seconds. ^^ I'm not sure if anyone will completely understand that, but hey, I tried my best. Well, I'll continue putting your stuff onto my game! Keep sending it! I'll need to make a new level for more space pretty soon! ;)
