Flash CS3: Buttons fucked up

did anybody else notice this? I made a button in flash, and when I tested it, it played the button like a movie clip : | without listening to the function of it's frames...

function? you arent supposed to use functions on a button. maybe i dont know what you mean.

any way:

on(press) {
frame action();
}

well, in a button, ever frame has a function, like the 'over' and 'down' frames.

Are you exporting it in AS3?

Export it in go to the publish settings and export in AS2. That should fix it. ; )
