However the reaction of NG users are extremly insensitive with that. Would that be the same if 4 white kids were killed?

Based on my enormous pool of experience, this is an indication that everyone is happily racist and hostile against each other. Being racist is the natural way of life and there we should stop stupid laws that are made up to encourge people to be less racist.

To be honest, I really don't think people would care more if it was white kids. Just hearing that somebody was killed is so remote and distant. You can't relate to them. It isn't so much about racism as being cold hearted.

Aren't you contradicting yourself here? as you say, everybody can be an idiot, be it black people or white people or whatever. It has nothing to do with the race of the person. (although the culture can have a big impact)

Wow, I don't have cable so I found out about the murders by reading the article on CNN's website. It's really odd that they didn't make any mention of race and I had no idea the victims were black. I was pretty outraged until just now when this topic informed me that it was actually black people who died, I mean what a relief.

Well, people get killed all the time in the US. In the UK, there was a story on national news because a police officer got stabbed to death. Because I've been on NG/other forums with this kind of story, I didn't really think it was worth such a shout.
