I loved it! ppl say its like a avarage episode, but i think its so much more! they had scenes from old episodes, like when homer and bart jumped over Sprigfield gorge, so awesome!

It was ok. I was amused the whole time but it wasn't as great as I was hopeing it would be. I don't like the new Computer Animated Simpsons and I found the story-line to a be a tad bit lame. It was easily a story the could have done on TV... which is cool in the sense that the movie was just like the show, but lame in the sense that it lacked that 'something special' that wreaked of the big screen.

Beavis and Butt-head do America is a classic example. That movie was just like that show but with a story line that could have only been told on the big screen. The Simpsons missed that.

Also, I didn't enjoy the rehash of old Family Guy jokes. "Remember when" and "Praise Jebus"... if you're going to steal jokes, at least try to steal from a less-popular source.

Also, I forgot to mention that the shitty Green Day cover of the Simpsons theme and the unfunny Green Day scene in the beging didn't help any.

I found the whole thing pretty gay myself. And the underlying "take care of the environment" story should have been thrown away. I'm seriously getting sick of Hollywood telling me to protect mother Earth. I pollute more now then ever... just out of spite. Fuck trashcans, throw that shit on the ground.

Oh, and what's up with Lisas new love interest? He was a shitty character that served no purpose. New characters always ruin everything... especially unfunny ugly ones that add nothing to the show in question.

Thinking about it, the Simpsons movie was really pretty bad.

Don't ever say that. Computers don't belong in Animation... ever. Hand drawn frame by frame cell animations are, and always will be, better then bullshit still framed motion tweens and facy CGI effects.

Go watch the episode of the Simpsons where Homer gets the big pile of salt and has to protect it from neighboring bees. Watch the animation that takes place durring Homers rant about the salt to marge... it's fucking beautiful.

You saw none of that in the movie. Instead of wonderful bits of jazzy animation we got bullshit computers and zoom effects. It's a disgrace to animation and the endof an animation era that no true cartoon lover wants to see die. If anybody could have kept the frame-by-frame cell based animation alive it was the simpsons and I'm really dissapointed to see them not use it.

Call me crazy, but I'd rather watch moving art created from the mind of a living human over crazy camera angles generated by a computer program any day.

Well I came out of the theatre being pretty satisfied. All you have to do to enjoy the Simpsons movie is walk in with low expectations. Then they surprise you by being decent. It wasn't great. But I might get it when it comes out on DVD.
