Here's what you do. Get some water, and some SureJell--it's the stuff they add to make jellies when you're canning. Pour the water in to the tank, then add the SureJell. While it's congealing, stick plastic toy fish, plastic plants in it, etc. You'll have an aquarium, but it will be frozen in time.
So often times it happens, that we live our lives in chains, and we never even know we had the key...

You can either put lizard type animals in it, or fish.
A friend of mine has a rattlesnake. I'm not sure if its legal though. I think he found it and took it home, scaring everyone else in his house shitless.
Another friend had a python. That was cool.
That same friend also had an iguana, some geckos, and a couple other lizards.
I had a turtle for a while.
Some people I've seen have frogs and toads.
As for fish, pretty much anything goes. Anywhere from gold fish, to cat fish, to a bunch of colorful reef fish, even sharks. I'd go with a snake or a shark, just because they seem the most kickass.

Get a arowana. Like those fish from MGS:3. I got one and it grows like it was on steroids. Just be careful because the first time it eats something live it won't eat fish food ever again.

it would be totally hardcore if you got like 40 goldfish, and some Carnivorous Eel.
Then just watch the Eel eat shit.
My friend's dad actually gets drunk with friends, and then take fish and put a sharpie dot in different colors on each fish. Then they watch which if their fish get eaten first.
Sounds fun.

Add some water to increase its weight, then bring your fish tank and walk up and down some stairs. Good way to burn some fats.

Get freshwater Tropical Fish.
Once the tank has matured they barely need cleaning and most Tropical Fish are quite cheap (about £1-£4) but some of the rare algae eaters can cost over £30. I've got one and I'm always worried that it'll die.
I've gotta make myself a Signature?
I can't be bothered, but I'm bothered to not be bothered and to bother about bothering about not bothering isn't worth the bother...

Yes you do.
The water temperature needs to be kept at about 26 degrees C so it needs to be constantly heated.

I've always wanted to have a huge tank and have a bunch of Jelly Fish in it, with some cool lights on the other side shining through, illuminating the Jelly Fish. It would be pretty.
