Since the United States' Economy is directly link together with the majority of the worlds, this topic can be relative to most people regardless of the country that they live in. This can be Macro, as well as Micro issues.
What is your opinion on foreign policy?
What do you think about our (US) fiscal policy?
How about national debt, and welfare/public expenditures?
What types of standards differ from other countries?
When will the economy reach its next obvious growth stage?
Any issue can be brought here, however if debates arise DO NOT BE IMMATURE AND ZENOPHOBIC. This topic is meant to discuss the different ways in which governments go about manipulating the economy; this topic is NOT going to be one in which people shoot-down other countries. With that said, its all yours...

I dont know about Hillary winning. The Republican party might be able to beat her with Dumbo since he represents our mascot! If she won, I say fuck the asprin, give me a shotgun.
For real though, does anyone have any input on this subject?

if that duplicitous bitch wins the presidency, I'm going to move to canada. She only stayed with Bill after he cheated on her MULTIPLE TIMES because she knew that she had a shot at higher office using the publicity.

Of course she did. It was funny; after she was recently interviewed, a psychoanalyst said that almost everything she said was BS. Its funny because the delusional bitch probably believes it herself by now; pathological lier...politician...hmmmmm, I see a bit of a connection here! Oh well, whatever. I guess were safe because even if she is elected, some nutcase will most likely assasinate her.

In my opinion, the new "do not call" listing is as untimely as can be. For those that dont know what this is, its so that people can decide wheather or not tele-markets are allowed to call them. This is not good for the economy because it is a very large industry, and therefore many jobs will be lost. Consumer spending will not be helped, and it will keep the economy stagnant. Whoever thought that this was good to pass at this point in time is a complete jackass. It would have been much better to do this while in an economic "boom" so that inflation could be combated against. Its good for people to have this choice, but at this point in time, its a real bonehead move.

What do you (anyone) think about Irag and their oil supply? If the US helps them form a new government, how do you think they will handle the trade of oil? Also, since it can be used as a political tool, can anyone imagine us setting embargos on it?
