Well there wasn't much true about it. It was very loosely based, considering there were monsters.

I'm sorry to tell you this guys...but there weren't 1 million persians. It was closer to 300-400 thousand.

And the 300 guys were backed by about 2000 greeks

Personally, I thought it was so-so. The first time, I watched it as an action flick. I thought it was God-fucking-awsome. The second time, I watched it as a regular, nothing-else-to-do movie, It was so-so.

300 is godly. If you got the dvd then congraaaaatulations. I wish I had it.

The DVD isn't all that special. Now the HD-DVD's and Blu-Rays, that's quality.

It's a good movie, but I think it gets blow out of proportion on how awesome it was.

guys this story is 100% true... happened in a bar outside of Worcester mass

a guy went to see 300 with a bunch of his buddies then the y went ot a bar after it and got a little more then drunk if you know what i mean... his wife went up to the second floor of the bar and bitched at him for not calling her so he said "THIS IS SPARTA!!!!" and kicked her down the stairs... she had to be air lifted to the hosptal

so i say if a movie cna make you kick your wife down the stairs in a public place i say it kicks shooters ass
although shooter was also and excellent movie i would just by both

Yep, just watched it.........and it was beyond epic.........(I wish the king hit that faggot in the face at the end, he only got his mouth, damn.) I dont know about you guys saying it is overrated but it definitely wasnt. I wish they showed us the last fight, instead they pull a Braveheart on us....fuck.

Yeah but if they made the story like that it would lose some of it's epicness.

Well I never saw shooter but 300 was really good I thought. I wouldn't call it overrated. It's just really awesome.
