Ok maybe it was a bad idea posting about this on my userpage, i woke up and got a slew of pm's.... Denvish said he would probably show up to a pub once we figure out what we're doing.. he apparently hates london but wants to say hai.

Anyway I have a feeling this is getting out of control and it'll turn out like our group at comic con where we are way too large to be able to move effectively. So dont invite people unless they are relatively well known ng portal/forum people...

as i say i want to go but i can only go if my one friend who is also on NG goes.just one person isnt to bad?

Yeah, if I do make it I'll probably not hang around too long, may well head back the same day. Seeing as how most of you lot are like 16 years old, I'm probably going to feel slightly out-of-place age-wise. Also, I hate masses of people, crowded pubs, and London in general.

I don't generally think more than a couple of days ahead, so I'm not going to guarantee being there as something else may crop up between now and then

Any chance of a list of peeps with some indication of how likely they are to turn up? So long as I can find a place to spend a night or two, not much can keep me from this :P

You should discuss with Tom (SFB), he had offered to let people crash at his place. I was going to originally but i think i should let people who arent able to get a hotel room on their own because of their age and finance situation and shit.. PM him. I know him personally so i can vouch for him.

Cool, but I want to exhaust asking the people I actually know living near London before bothering Tom or anything. Plus there's something a little daunting about crashing at the place of my all time Flash hero.

I've given it some thought and I have decided I wont be coming.

At first I was like "awesome I can meet some cool people on NG" but now I realise, I'm not really much of a reg here on the flash forum anymore and the people I do know from the flash forum arent from UK. Also I dont really know what you guys will be getting up to and some of you are planning on bingeing and stuff which is just totaly the opposite of what it should be about.

Ehh its still too early for anything to be taken seriously, I think that as we wind down the month of august then we'll truly figure out who's gonna show up. We can swap phone numbers and such.

I'm really attracted to the idea of going to some big arcade, when we did that for one of the mod meats it was great fun playing multiplayer games and shit. I think that was the one and only time in my life i ever tried ddr.

I think as long as we have around 10 people itll be a big enough group that we'll have different people to mingle with but small enough so that we can mobilize efficiently.

Sorry guys, I can't come, I'm on holiday that whole week. It's a pity because it sounds awesome and I really wanna go.
