1) You're not from UK so why are you hosting it, you wont know anything about london or what we can get up to

2) We cannot go to a bar and get drinks because a lot of users who would want to come are under 18

I'm hosting it because people have been trying to get a uk meet going and it went nowhere everytime.. i think it was about time someone stepped up to the plate and said lets do this.
I also think that because im coming from so far away, people might actually take it more seriously and show up.

Im fine not knowing anything about london.. that is why this thread was made so you all can steer the actual details pertaining the meetup.. im just using my networking powers to put a legit face to this thing.. i can pull some people in or atleast try to..

I understand this, i think that the whole bar thing will be a later in the day thing, during earlier in the day we can do something everyone can enjoy such as the zoo or whatever you all decide on and then after we're winding down then you can decide that you hated hanging out and you can call it quits or if you cant get enough and you want to hit the bar scene you are welcome to do the bar crawl as well..

We can do anything, i think the key is first deciding on where to meet up.. theres been a few suggestions already and even if we dont know exactly what we are gonna do i think itd be pretty exciting to just decide on where to meet up and just sort it out as we go.. theres more spontaneousness...

yeh, and you are forgetting matt, the tradition that is, getting pissed in a public park, although i don't think i'd be doing that in London. What would you say it is? 450% more likely to be jumped on, stabbed in London than somewhere like Newcastle :P

Anyways, i think the idea of meeting on the river side near the Eye is a good idea.

Now: what time range to meetup?

Also: If i come down on the friday night i'll need to find my way to accomodation wherever that will be - Luis, thats you :P

I live in Leeds, not so far from London..but far. A few hours drive, I'll try to make it down there if its worth my while.

Delta, if youre getting the national express in so am I , so we could meet at wherever we get dropped off granted its at a simillar time. I havent looked into the national express yet but I know that's gunna be my best option.

BTW, there is a student card thing you can get for the national express I believe, it might be worth getting one of them.

What my plan is is to just sleep whichever way I get there (train or coach), with a 5+ journey i'll get a good sleep and i'll not be able to miss my stop.

Siriously - you shouldnt go. Not to sound like 'No! You're not permitted!' - I obviously cant stop you, but I dont think you'd (and the people who are going) feel very comfortable seeing as you're a 14 year old who isnt a reg, while they are about 17-21 ish who've been round here for a while.
