This is really starting to piss me off that you people constantly have to start topics like this which just end up being a giant flame war between Atheists, Christians, and Me (The one Atheist that actually thinks about this shit before trying to start this shit).
I may be wasting time by posting this because I know you people with your limited thought capacity refuse to read any posts longer that 200 words. I just want you people to understand something. Religion is over 2,000 years old. The war over converting everyone to one religion, just as old. Look at how much progress has been made. We still have Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, and more. So here's what I have to say. Please read the one applying to you.

FOR THE ATHEISTS: Stop trying to convert the religious. They have held their beliefs for 2,000 years. That's impressive. Leave them to believe what they want. If they want to switchover, help them. If not, leave them be. Simple as that.

FOR ANYONE FOLLOWING ANY RELIGION: I am just going to leave you and your beliefs alone. If you want to belief that some all powerful man created us and controls our afterlife, then go right ahead.

Finally, I have to throw in my two cents (Feel free to ignore this if it offends you): I just have to say that if there was a true god, he would have atleast made his presence known in this day and age. If we KNEW someone that could strike us down instantly was watching us, mabye we'd be a little more like the Bible or other religious books, scrolls, and writings say we should be. I only find religion bullshit because the only reason you people ever keep believing in it is because noone can PHYSICALLY disprove God. Newsflash, you haven't exactly PHYSICALLY proved he exists either. I only favor Buddhism (I am not a Buddhist myself, but I have many friends who are) because they don't worship a God that they have to prove exists, they just go by a set of truths from a man that we KNOW existed thousands of years ago, and they are very reasonable.

If we could combine the unity of the Christians, Hindus, Muslims, and all the other religions, with the logic the Atheists imply, we could probably surface the perfect religion...

Well if you think about this. If god made you a independent mind its the way you think about it if you think he is real he is if you dont think he is real he's not really religion is all about thought if everyone thought about one person creating everyone and doing everything about this world then they creat a god in mind... And thats why there are sperate religion like atheist those are people who dont beleive god. Another thought.

well i think god is REAL (by the way im christain) because even though you hear of him doing marvelous things, if had a personal miricle from him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

for the first 13 years of my life i had this disease called celiac disease and what this means is that i wasnt aloud to eat anything with wheat or gluten in it so this means no bread or anything like that!
then i went to this church service 1 time and got preyed for and as from that day i had got healed from it and now im 15 and its wonderfull so i recomend give god at least 1 chance

evolution makes perfect sense aside from the fact that microscopic organisms that live for thousands of years under any conditions eventually became creatures that live for only a few years.
