Cortez wasn't a saint. The Aztecs weren't saints. But both WERE saints compared to the leaders of the modern-day pro-abortion movement. I complately agree with the movie in that aspect.

That's a load of crap, there's no nicer way for me to put that. I see a lot more unbiased stuff by atheists and agnostic than I do by religious people, honestly you can form opininos just fine from what they say. Now I'm not saying that people who are religious can't say something right or put something up without lying, they're as capable as anyone else.

Actually he was talking about Farfur the Mouse, a character who actually calls out kids to martyr themselves, in a show broadcasted by Al-Aqsa TV, a network run by Hamas. However, this is about as representative of Muslims in general as the show that's discussed by the OP is representative of the Catholic/Christian community (even though EWTN presents much less radical views than, say, Fred Phelps or Jack Chick). Very few catholics believe that genocide is neccesary to stop the heathens, and very few muslims actually plan to strap explosives to their bodies and blow up a schoolbus full of children.
This only comes to prove that there are nutcases on both sides (and all other sides, while we're at it).

Let me explain this,again, for the second time.

This program portrays Cortez as leader of Christianity in South America, and the Aztecs as devil worshiping abortionists.

Its goes into GRAPHIC detail about how Aztec's killed and sacrificed babies and children, worshiped "demonic", that they were, in essence, savages with no real culture.

However, NO mention is made about what Cortez did to the meso-americans and WHY. He killed them for gold and to find the "fountain of youth". This program makes it sound like he destroyed beautiful temples, raped women, and slaughtered hundreds discriminately, before leaving the population with smallpox claiming the few that survived.

Not ONE negative act is attributed to Cortez. None.

Historical fact deserves to be told by many scholarly sources and as unbiased as possible. And simply put, you can't sugar coat it all... I learned the Holocaust when I was 6 years old, and trust me... Hearing about the ovens was a fucked up idea for me, but I've managed not to be tramautized.
