ok thx for all ur awesome feed back! you may have noticed i didnt use mspaint this time cause i finaly decided to dl GIMP. ill try and do a color bit but if it isnt looking good then i wont, ill keep ya posted

ok well i tried to color it! started with his left foot, ended up looking like shit!!! so im sad to say this peice is going to stay an ink job unless someone else feels the need to color it, sry every one but sometimes pics just arnt made to be colored

Theres so much more to coloring , then just adding a new layer on multiply and add in midtones..

I KNOW my work isn't as good as Avoe17's, being that I just colored it, but it is still hard to do,
here it is, remasteres, I added a shadow, a leg, and made different tones of red and blue that go darker on a side and lighter ond the other, this is my last try at coloring this, it's too good, maybe I could make it better later on, when I'm more experencied.

and yea i was right when i said it shouldnt be colored, the way i inked it the shine on the metal is black but when you add color to it a black shine looks more like oil

I don't think it looks too bad colored, even with a really cheap 'n dirty application of flood fill (sorry to turn your thread/picture into some kind of coloring book)

But you're right that the black "highlights" do come out looking like oil...
