Steps fpr a great sig.

Simple 599X50 sig, only rectangles. Post your steps. Also, this is just for general discussion, so don't be too specific. I think it would be cool just to see what order people add these things in and how they do it (generally). If every single sig you make is a custom, full day project, then this kind of thing probably won't apply to you.

1) Make the background the same colour as the Newgrounds background (just in case), also, make it look the same in the preview (probably only needed in Fireworks).

2) Add special pics or images. Make them semi-transparent, or delete the backgorunds.

3) Add text

4) Format text so it either has a pattern or and outline, so it's pattern is the pic behind it.

5) Make a border. Usually a thick, semi-transparent one with a fancy pattern or texture.

6) Add scanlines/pattern/texture on top of the whole sig to give it a cool effect.

And that's the basic steps to every sig I make (Of course these change with every sig, but if I over-generalized it, this is how it would be).
