I'm not sure about my favorite episode, it's been a long time since I watched them all. But my favorite character is unquestionably Bender :]

A good choice. Unquestioningly rude and certainly the worst role model on TV. Ever.

And I think my favorite quote would be: " Bite my glorious golden ass" said by Bender from another dimension :)

Ah, the Farnsworth Parabox. I preferred when the two Benders were looking through the parallel universes for the Zoidbergs

"Hey, look what I snagged from Leprechaun Universe *holds up pot of gold*"
"Yeah, Leprechaun Universe is fine... if you haven't seen Pirate universe *opens treasure chest*
"Faith and Begota" *follows Bender into Pirate Universe*

I wouldn't recommend that. We'll end up being like "What's Futurama?" and "I don't remember telling you to wipe my memory out." I remember watching Red Dwarf where they had parts of their memories wiped out and that's what happened...Wait, are Red Dwarf references allowed here?

If we wiped our minds out then we would never know if we liked or did not like or maby now we won't even know that futurama exits to even re-watch all of the episodes over again 0_0 Now if you wanted to make time skips to make the time go by faster and then we would not remeber what happened during the skips and then find a way to stop them right when the new ones premiere?

..What Futurama game? Is it a console game? Please tell us (me) more about this game, I'm really curious as to what it is.

Also, how was Into the Wild Green Yonder? It looked pretty good, but I havne't found it online anywhere yet, and I'm having trouble getting TV time in my dorm.

I played it once, and as much as I love Futurama, it was a massive embarrassment to the series. The only good part is when Scruffy says "Prison ain't so bad. You can make sangria in the terlet".

Also, how was Into the Wild Green Yonder? It looked pretty good, but I havne't found it online anywhere yet, and I'm having trouble getting TV time in my dorm.

It's relatively easy to find online. Pm me and I'll give you a link.
Anyway, it was okay. I wasn't too fond of most of the Futurama films, but that was probably the one that messed with the storyline and continuity of the series the most. I'll say no more.

The game was released sometime around 2004 and after that it was just pulled from shelves and after that it just was hard to find if you could find it. Not even in the used game section, thats how bad it was.

It was really good, i liked it. Lots of plot twists and the like. I don't want to go to far into it, so it won't ruin it for you. It may be on hulu.com, i don't really use it but you could give it a shot.

Well, it wasn't necessarily that way - I just thought that they did know what had happened, but their minds suffered from the apparent jump through time, as the bodies had been doing something, like Fry in the basketball game, for example.

DId they? I allways remebered that that during the time skips that they did not know what happend during them and had no idea what they were doing when it was over. Just like Fry could not remeber how he got lela to love and marry him ans what he did to get here to divorce him.

I may have to watch it again or maby your wrong.

Huh...I guess I'm one of the few who didn't mind the game. Nearly finished it, from what I've played it seems to be a fairly mediocre game, but if you don't know how to target enemies then the game just plain sucks.

I guess it's all a question of how you perceive things - how else would they have been able to be doing stuff 'in the interim'? Fry goes from saying "because when we're together, baby, time will stand still.", to a few seconds later, rubbing a black eye that Leela has obviously bestowed upon him.

Getting from point A to point C has no other logical path than via point B, after all.

I may have to watch it again or maby your wrong.

I'm not saying it's definitive, I'm just stating my opinion. They are inteligent guys who write this stuff after all :P

I wasn't saying that nothing happened during the interim happened that they did not know how it had happend or sometimes it even happned at all. When zoidberg was at amy's birthday party he says "i hope the same happens for mine" and the then he sitting all alone with a cupcake on the table.
This is getting puzzling, but i think we both have similar ideas on what is going on.

Yes, what you are saying does make perfect sence. After all i try to bust idiots, and you are not one of them @;-}>

So are the same writers back for the new season of futurama? i would really hope so since they came up with some really interesting adventures for them to go on.

Touche. Poetic licence sprinkled liberally, one might say...

Yeah, most of the writers are returnees, with I think 1 or 2 new ones for some fresh ideas. Either way, the new stuff is going to be exciting to see and fun to watch.

"Curse, it's shank-er-be-shanked."

"Scruffy's gonna die the way he lived *licks finger, turns page*" - Parasites Lost. My personal favourite Scruffyism.

The Futurama Complete Collection just came out here in the States recently. Anyone getting it? I hope to get it for Christmas, maybe my birthday.

I've already got all Futurama DVDs, so I don't need to duplicate...

Not until I upgrade to Blu-Ray, that is.

Apparently, the Planet Express ship and the Nimbus crash together at the start of the new season, and not everyone will survive.

Luckily, Cohen has some Magical Technology up his sleeve to revive everyone.

Sounds fun - considering the amount of body parts that Fry has lost / damaged over his tenure on the show, I'm not surprised:

* Testicles
* Arm
* Leg
* Head
* Nose (Human Horn)

And that's all I can remember during my first caffienated beverage of the morning.

Was it Bendin' in the Wind? That's the hippie episode, so it would be appropriate.

I think that I should do what I do with my CD collection - rip them to my hard drive and use blanks to make copies for use, to protect them.

Don't forget, he broke his neck in The Day the Earth Stood Stupid (well, kinda), and he got a pipe through the stomach in Parasites Lost. And he hurt his chin in Insane In the Mainframe.

Where did he hurt his arm and leg, though? I can't recall.

I'm gonna kick myself.

Nah, that was a figment of imagination - from his book.

and he got a pipe through the stomach in Parasites Lost.

"Ah, the hypochondriac's back. So what is it this time?"
"Well, my lead pipe hurts a little."

And he hurt his chin in Insane In the Mainframe.

And his head and feet:

"Ow, my head! Ow, my feet! Ow, my head! Ow, my feet!"
"Keep your chin up."
"Ow, my chin!"

Where did he hurt his arm and leg, though? I can't recall.

He lost his arm in "Why must I be a crustacean in love?" - Zoidberg cut it off during the Claw-Plach and then Fry tried to beat Zoidberg to death with it.

As for the Legs, we never see it, but when Zoidber attaches Fry's arm on the wrong side, he cuts off Fry's legs instead of the arm.

I'm gonna kick myself.

Well, Fry certainly wasn't after that episode :P

Do nerve endings count? They were damaged during Zoidburg's operation to put Fry's head back on in "Put Your Head on my Shoulders".

Technically his whole body went there as Bender exploded in close range to Fry and Leela, shortly after this happened.

This is a Prime piece of real estate below.
