At the end of the day , i want to know - why is hitler considored such a terrible man?

Because he was a terrible man... the whole way he got to power was by brainwashing people and playing off the irrational prejudices of the mindless massies. He had a habit of silencing and/or killing opposition, stabbing people in the back, and basically being the most ruthless person he could be in order to consolidate his power.

Then when he got power, he started killing Jews who were German citizens, rounding them up as they were defenseless and killing them en masse. Then, he invaded surrounding countries, killed THEIR Jews, raped and pillaged their populace, and brutalized opposing forces, executing POWs etc..

Most people are just stupid and simply repeat bigoted remarks and jokes that they hear from their family, friends, from people TV, movies, people on the internet etc... So most people, I think, don't actually hate Jews, they are just incredibly dumb and think it's cool to rip on them.

But people who DO hate Jews usually do so due to religious differences, or because they are intimidated by the fact Jews tend to be affluent - educated, wealthy, and powerful.

Germans should hate Hitler because he was stupid. I was watching a WWII era film last night and it made me wonder how much more successful the Nazi campaign for global domination could have been if they had extra few million German citizens locked away in concentration camps or producing a wonderful cloud cover, working towards the war effort. Sure they had factories set up for slave labor but those people were in a weakened condition and many were dead. Hell what if they just had the manpower and resources spent on running the concentration camps going the the front line? So basically Hitler should be hated because he pissed away Germany's chance for victory on a dubious pet project.
