You know, Athiests arent people who dont believe in God. The correct meaning for Athiest is a person who thinks a God did actually exist, but he/she died years ago and left us to fend for ourselves.

Read "The God Delusion", its a great book.

If I'm correct, Athiests don't necesarrily hate god, they just don't believe in religion.

Like I pointed out in my previous post, "Atheism" quite literally means "without God" in Greek. So no, Atheists can't hate God, because you can't hate something if you don't believe that it exists. They can, however, hate the concept of religion and the people who practice it. That's where most people get confused.

The whole delusion of God isn't dangerous on its own and I don't hate it, even if I don't believe it. We don't HATE god. We just dont believe in him. Atheisim is a belief, not a religion. We belive that the begining of life was energy. there was just energy. energy cannot be created, or destroied.
